 ...the responses to this question illustrate why the expected blue wave wasn't even a ripple.
Not a ripple. Time for you to retire, I think, and dog walk full time.

Biden defeated an incumbent, with every ordinary advantage of incumbency together with a willingness to bend the entirety of the apparatus of the Presidency, from imaging to public money to his reelection campaign. He defeated a relentless liar and cheat. He overcame a cultish devotion of people unwilling to understand the truth both about their hero and about the consequences to them in real terms. In the process Biden flipped four states (AZ, MI, WI, PA) taken by Trump in 2016, and won (or appears to have won) Georgia. That's right: an incumbent Republican couldn't (it appears, at least for now) easily defend Georgia. Your comment is a fail at humor, a fail at anything serious. Maybe get some sleep; read VDH -- it'll help with somnolence.
 ...everyone admires a sore winner. It takes a sense of humor to recognize humor. Your condescending attitude of personally attacking anyone who does not agree with you is representative of the massive disconnect that prevented the blue wave that your favorite media told us was inevitable.

This election was a rejection of Trump the man, not his policies, which I, among others, supported. It was made possible by a pandemic which decimated the economy & flooded the electorate with millions of unsolicited junk mail ballots which would not have been cast in normal times.

The advantage of incumbency ? Being at the helm when China released the pandemic ? Had Trump followed his predecessor's model & unleashed the FBI, CIA & State Dept on his opponent, while purchasing disinformation from a foreign power, imprinting the IC's imprimatur on it, then feeding it to a supplicant MSM -- then he would have used the advantages of incumbency, as his predecessor did in 2016, on behalf of his opponent.

You & Nancy Pelosi should read more VDH to understand why a safe was dropped on your heads.
Donald Trump’s supporters didn’t support him so fervently because of his “policies”, which were incoherent, moronic, malignant, and incompetently administered.

No, they loved him because he was an overt, shameless, vulgar, racist, bigoted, and misogynistic piece of trash. He pandered to their worst instincts, like the foul-mouthed carnival barker and con man that he is.

It’s going to take at least a generation to undo all the damage he has done.

You're really astute at reading Trump supporters doc. Which poll do you work for ? ABC/WP, NBC or NYT ?

A generation? How much longer do you think the Anthropocene will last?

Campaign affiliates sending text out to urge supporters into the streets:

https://apnews.com/article/election-202 ... 736e378978

"A texting company run by one of President Donald Trump’s top campaign officials sent out thousands of targeted, anonymous text messages urging supporters to rally where votes were being counted in Philadelphia on Thursday, falsely claiming Democrats were trying to steal the presidential election.

The messages directed Trump fans to converge at a downtown intersection where hundreds of protesters from the opposing candidates’ camps faced off Thursday afternoon. Pennsylvania is a crucial battleground state where former Vice President Joe Biden’s jumped ahead Friday and in a televised address later predicted a victory that would give him the presidency.

“This kind of message is playing with fire, and we are very lucky that it does not seem to have driven more conflict,” said John Scott-Railton, senior researcher at the University of Toronto’s online watchdog Citizen Lab. Scott-Railton helped track down the source".

Bigoted, too, but much smoother, again comparing favorably to Trump.
What was Pence's rank at Indiana's law school?
You just voted for someone who was 76 out of 85 at Syracuse.
:D Law school rank? when did you turn into an academic snob?
(That's supposed to be my turf... ;) )
Neither of those laws schools are in the top 100 in the US.

Of course, there are several lawyers on here I would suggest could run circles around them both, intellectually...but Joe ain't 'dumb as rock'...Pence is. It's not an academic performance statement, just that Pence resembles a rock in his density. It's willful density, which makes it worse.
I don't think Pence is dumb.
dense
A lot of other issues, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer either.

BTW, do you think he believes the crappola he says, or is he lying a whole lot of the time?
If not lying, I'm back to 'dumb as a rock'.
Obtuse. Not necessarily a trait all people who go to law school avoid.

Actually, I’ve come to believe that the best way to run a mail in system is to send ballots, unsolicited, to all registered voters.
Folks in Utah, Washington and Colorado obviously think so.

In 2020, in person election day voting was about one third of the votes cast. That percentage is only going to keep declining in the future. Yet another new normal that will last long after Covid is gone.
Those are fake states created by the lamestream media.

Where’s PB and 6ft been? One post out of PB and disappeared again? Glad for it but makes me revisit the theory they are Eastern European trolls.

Do we finally see the networks make some "calls" today?

As of midnight I saw these Votes:

Pennsylvania: Biden's up 28,833.

Arizona: Biden's up 29,861.

Georgia: Biden's up 4,395.

Nevada: Biden's up 22,657.

Did PB get over COVID or is he having some lingering health issues? I also speculated that his dad found out he was posting under his account and grounded him.

GF3 was a horrible movie. It was a stain on GF 1 and 2
These five seconds were good. The rest, not so much.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPw-3e_pzqU
Did you know the original concept for Godfather III was scrapped over something like $50,000. Duvall wanted to be paid like Pacino. The movie was supposed to be a rivalry between Michael and Tom leading families. I forgot Hagen was having an affair with Sonny’s widow. It rubbed Michael the wrong way.
Can't believe I never heard this before. That could have been a great story line to play out.
Yes. It made a lot of sense. Michael told Hagen at one point in 2 he could go back to NY with his wife and mistress (Sonny’s wife). I believe he would have run Pantangeli’s crew. Anyway, what could have been.

Da Vinci may have already done it and the famous painting may be his second version - the first pre-dating it by 10 years

Do you have to apply for an “admission ticket” before you go to vote in person? No. That would be an unnecessary step.

Interesting that there's this thing, "provisional ballots". We don't usually have so much discussion about them and how and why they are used...all revealing that there's a very serious process to prevent mistakes.
