Re: #8 Georgetown vs Penn State Sunday @ 2:30
Shocking. I thought Penn State would have full energy for sixty minutes after last year's heartbreaking ending and the way they recently played against Michigan. I mean goodness, the home team in the playoffs, the only team to take down the #1 team in the country was able to somehow find a way. ;)

Re: Georgetown 2024
Hoyas open as a 1.5 point underdog at home. Should be a good game.

Re: Georgetown 2024
If you look back at the 2018 team that lost the OT heartbreak to Hopkins, 2019 team lost to Yale etc they ran 3 middies. Last year’s team was great but the scoring was very top heavy. This team is different. To your point, they have far more depth even if not as many superstars. This is a fun team ...

Re: Best player in your schools history
Georgetown easy = Brodie Merrill. Agree this is an easy call. Brodie Merrill is one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time. And the Canadians are still trotting him out on their national team, correct? Yep, 41 years old and still on Canada's national team: https://www.lacrosse.ca/division/0/1...

Graham Bundy Jr. was named a captain of the USA U21 team. What a great honor for him - Hoya Saxa! "Graham Bundy Jr. and Cole Kirst have been elected by their teammates as co-captains for the U.S. team that will compete in the World Lacrosse Men’s U21 World Championship later this month in Limer...

Re: Next Programs To Win National Titles For The First Time?
It was a pretty bad choke. #2 seed losing at home. 😬 Del did it to UVA as well (08) Towson to Denver (2016) Army over Cuse (2010) Bryant over Cuse (2014) Number of close calls, Duke barely scraped by Richmond in 2019z This isn’t an accurate perspective to say they choked. And saying at home is redu...

Georgetown 2023
Lots of reasons to be excited about 2023. Georgetown is returning good talent, bringing in good recruits, and has been active in the transfer portal. Hopefully looking at another top 5 year. Hoya Saxa!

Re: Princeton versus Maryland
I thought so too. You can’t get 1 goal out of 2 straight minutes of penalty time in a game like that.Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 2:24 pm I thought sitting in the ball at the end of the half was a mistake as well. 7-5 and having to face off man up is better than 7-4 w the ball. That seems obvious.

Bizarre responses, it sounds like this whole board is Watson’s mother. If the kid's mom actually sounds like some combination of me and FFG talking about getting laid on M Street, he has had a lot to overcome in life and should be celebrated for every achievement. Lets just hope she doesn't work at...

Re: Transfer Portal 2023
I enjoy the talk about relative future value of these degrees coming straight from undergrad. That being said, it’s probably just awesome to be given another year to do something you love (lacrosse) and get a degree from an elite school while you do it. I would definitely tell my younger self to go...

Re: Georgetown 2022
4 grad transfers and two embarrassing losses in the NCAA tournament should make any parent/player second guess committing to Georgetown. The kid is going to Princeton. Silly 👎 Is it? 5 star recruit flipped. It’s not coincidental. Who was the decommit? I believe Nate Kabiri in the 2023 class decommi...

Re: Georgetown 2022
The Hoya fans are euphoric regarding the transfers for next year and most posters infer that they will be starters. While this is not-rare in post Covid, D1 lacrosse, are there concerns that this player grab along with Warne playing a short bench, will negatively affect recruiting since current pla...
