The common thread tying the UVA game to the UD game is athleticism. UVA gobbled up the attack unit last year because no Hoya could run past any of the long poles. UVA pressed way out last year. This year, the attack couldn't draw a slide anywhere near GLE.

I suspect a one-year grad transfer from upstate NY will solve this problem.

I do too. I’ve heard the Hoyas are going to be big winners on that front.

I noted in the Tewaarton thread that Chris Gray scored or assisted on 50% of UNC's goals this season, which led the nation. Brian Minicus was the only other player above 45% at 47.2% -- simply put he was the Colgate offense. This would be a big get and if he and Dordevic are both indeed coming, that would give Georgetown two proven initiators from the attack position, which is exactly what they were missing against Delaware (both have also played midfield extensively as well, which would give the staff more flexibility in crafting the offensive groupings).

Hincks coming as an HM AA in cage to battle Scharfenberger and hopefully one surprise returner, along with a stacked incoming class, the Hoyas could be pretty formidable despite the graduation losses.

I believe that the offense would be more versatile if these grad transfers happen. Would be faster and more mobile on attack.
Also, would the “surprise” returner be someone other than McDermott, who is reportedly likely to come back?
