That’s a great spot for Wellner. Byrne left a full cabinet of talent. He can crush it then get a HC somewhere.

Dartmouth? SBU was established, but RS took that program to NCAA quarters and gave UVA all they wanted. Then, he resurrected the SJU program...
THAT"S how one can compare.

IMHO, that statement says it all and is a welcome benchmark for the MLax Mids going forward under Coach Amplo's leadership..https://navysports.com/news/2019/6/5/jo ... ?path=mlax
"To begin, then lead a sport of a major Division I institution may be the most significant challenge in our profession," said Gladchuk. "To do so with such astonishing short-term success is historic. Marquette lacrosse with so many documented accomplishments is a tribute to a man whose untiring work ethic and determination provided life changing experiences to student-athletes. Joe built a foundation on vision, sound educational principles, competed against and beat the best and left a legacy of success that can now be carried over to his next challenge at Navy. Passion, perseverance and inspirational leadership define Joe Amplo and he will be the perfect fit at the Naval Academy where developing our nation's future leaders is our priority and mission."

Nothing to due with "credit" has to do with a new program/resurrecting and starting at square 1Suskypride wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 12:16 pmResurrected SJU....RS left that program in shambles among other bad culture issues. The Navy minions are circling...Amplo has 0 NCAA tourney wins and a below .500 career record...granted, he had a few nice years at Marquette--and deserves credit where credit is due; however, last 2 years at Marquette?? But, I suppose to the haters, it is a step up? Curious that RS was so disliked and RW(RS's long-time, hand picked assistant) is revered on these pages...er wait, maybe it isn't so curious...
