Re: Coaching Carousal

Season is finally over and soon new the new Coaching Carousel will begin. Young Harris lost there new AC at the end of the year and just hired a new one (Scoba). Looks like Scoba had previously been at Oberlin and most recently 2020/2021 at Saint Leo's. Not sure if he took a hiatus or just wanted b...

Re: York 2024

Is there something going on at York? I’ve heard that they had more players enter the portal. 7+ players in the portal all in the same week seems like a lot especially for a program like York.

Re: NCAA Tournament Results

I think it’s interesting that in Coach Chris Ryan’s press conference yesterday he spoke about how he’s excited to play LR because it’s two teams that like to play fast in transition. But Hurst has always been known for their half field offense and playing at their pace. I think one thing to note Mer...

Re: New programs

Hearing Dominican (CA) will be going D2 again. This is great if true! Really nice campus with good faciilites. Begin the westward expansion! Can confirm it is true. They will be playing an independent schedule in ‘24 and will be an RMAC affiliate moving forward in ‘25. Sounds like Dominican and CIU...

Re: UDC Lacrosse 2023

UDC is not cutting their program. From the sounds of it they are interviewing some pretty qualified candidates that are motivated. It will definitely be a rebuild and take some time not sure who exactly is left their but I know that guys like Zander Torres and Joe Cote Karson Gregory are all coming ...

Re: Next First Time Champion

Lenore Rhyne…. Feel like it’s more a matter of when. Paradine has done a tremendous job. Wingate…. Boyle has already won one at Dowling. He seems to be recruiting well. In the north it’s a lot more difficult. Front runners are Mercy and Seton Hill. Mercy obviously got to the championship this year....

Re: Coaching Carousal

Didnt know they were adding or having lacrosse https://athletics.ftc.edu/general/2022-23/releases/20221216mkxrog I have never heard of them before you posted this - they are not either NAIA or NCAA... They’re USCAA which is a separate governing body away from the NAIA or NCAA. It’s for Small Colleg...

Re: Frostburg 2023

Frostburg ended the year at 11-8 and added a lot of talent. How far are they going this year? I think Frostburg is a Sleeper that could have the chance to make a run at a tournament appearance. While they graduated a lot they still have a strong core group of guys returning that have been with Coac...

Whipple is a volunteer assistant at Cortland state living in a dorm. I think he would take anything :D Whipple is not at Cortland anymore.. he’s been back down in Tampa as the HC of Tampa Catholic. Which has also been confirmed by former Tampa Players of his. https://floridalacrossenews.com/florida...

Re: 2023 Preseason Top 20

2 dark Horses to watch out for; Frostburg State Lander I agree! I wouldn’t be surprised to see Frostburg start off in the Top 20 this year. This will also be their first year eligible for NCAA’s after serving their three year probation. Coach Gartelman and his staff seem to have done a good job fil...

Should mean they finishing the hiring process.
Has anyone heard who they’re looking at? I heard an alumni of the program but I can’t see them going with someone with minimal experience.

Hearing Brockport is down to its final two.. both on campus this week. Should have someone in place by next week. Sounds like a temp PT position with no budget cuts to the Program… could be a good sign for whoever gets the position

Is this actually confirmed!? That would be a strong hire to replace Wolf!
