Re: IL's Top 50 Men's College Lacrosse Players For 2024
Agreed. Does the staff ask the player's coaches their opinions or the opposing coaches their opinions? Knobloch (33) production was down? Do you think it had anything to do with Rutgers playing 5 less games than the previous year's final four run? Is there another two way middy that plays full field...

Re: 2024 Season Predictions
I don't see JMU in the final four as one recently posted but possibly an Elite 8 run again. They have to figure out their defensive personnel and should but they lost Durkin and Matey, two stars and lost a solid starter in Thistlewaite to injury. They do return multi year starters Pirisino and Marsh...

Re: Rutgers 2024
If Rutgers were to hold the Final Four, they might break the all time attendance record. Great stadium and location with a lot of parking. Bathrooms and concessions need improvement but all else is fantastic. Attendance keeps dropping at these other venues. It's definately worth a try. Lower the tic...

Green Cards
After watching multiple fall ball games and listenting to so many disgruntled parents and fans of womens lacrosse, I think the overwhelming consensus is that the GREEN Card will set the game back and make the womens game unwatchable, which is a damn shame. It is a beautiful game and the ticky tacky ...

Re: Oberlin College
The massive, larger issue here is that if you don't agree and go along with the liberal narrative, you are cancelled and can be fired. And you are ok with that? That's sick. Public debate is not tolerated any longer. It used to be a hall mark of liberalism. This is banana republic and marxist stuff....

Re: Florida State
The transfer portal is here to stay. I keep hearing some people say that once covid is over, the portal will be done or will have fewer players. Reality is covid is over and the portal will continue on for those that want to move on due to lack of playing time, graduate programs and change of scener...

Re: Fall Lacrosse Schedules
Dmac, you didn't just go there did you? That's like writing to Trump in trying to put an end to lack of decency, integrity, and lying. These guys are hell bent on making this happen and it absolutely is at the cost of the game. Their pitch is nauseating. So your feckless president is an upstanding l...

Re: Rutgers 2024
The transfer portal IS recruiting. Rutgers has done a very nice job of complementing their team with great kids who want to come to Rutgers and in most cases play "up" another level. Some of them are NJ kids coming back to rep their state, others are from mid level programs wanting to see ...

Re: Oberlin College
What is disturbing is that we have young people getting indoctrinated by liberals on campus, professors that are nothing more than political activists suggesting that it is ok to have biological men play female sports. This is insane on every level. To hear a couple of Coach Russell's players sugges...

I don't know any of the specifics of what transpired at NW but this is another example of a good person being made an example of due to cancel culture. Soon they will come for you. Sorry, this stuff goes on at most schools and if you don't think so, you're naive. All it takes is for one malcontent t...

Re: Transfer Portal 2024
RE Rutgers or any other program using the portal………the best players play. If your 18-19 year old son isn't cutting it and is getting beat out by a 22 year old D3 All American who just transferred in, who would you play? Every school is using the portal as part of the recruiting process. Rutgers lost...

Re: NEW RULE PROPOSALS
The womens's game is beautiful now, why make changes. So, less players on the field and more on the sidelines? Defense can't stop hard driving attackers now so let's create more space by pulling a defender? The only thing that would be worse is adding helmets and pads. Pathetic!

Re: Lacrosse’s Pinnacle is Memorial Day, not Pro
Love college lacrosse, followed by high school. The NLL is not watchable with the goofy goalie equipment and indoor rink fields. PLL is becoming more watchable and will be better with city, state, regional teams but hope for more concrete rosters to build chemistry and support from the community. Fi...

Re: How many D1 Teams could Salisbury and Tufts beat?
This is like saying the winner of the CAA football conference could beat some of the lower SEC, ACC or Big Ten teams……………..no way. On a very rare occasion, yes. But not week in and week out. Nothing should be taken away from these high level D3 team and their players cause that is good lacrosse. I t...

Re: Rutgers 2024
Perhaps Brecht and Co did recruit these Jersey guys and those kids decided to go elsewhere. Heck, it's been long noted that if NJ could keep their best home in all sports, Rutgers would be top 20 in most, if not all of their athletic programs. Jersey is a transient state and most people want to move...
