Re: Maryland 2022
^^ wouldn’t it be the number one pro pick Donville? If Maryland were playing box lacrosse then yeah sure. I’m not even saying he won’t be that guy. I’m just saying it’s not obvious who that guy could be for Maryland, and that is unusual. Rambo and Bernhardt are historically great players. Not even ...

Re: Taliban reclaims Afghanistan
+1 Today should indeed be a day of remembrance and reflection. Quite a few us lost friends or family that day. Today is a day to remember and reflect. It also should be a day to assure all Americans that it will never again. I don't know if that is the case anymore. Bad people with bad intentions s...

Re: Progressive Ideology
It's a sound point that communities should not 'need' the munificence of supremely wealthy benefactors, but the reality of our primarily capitalist system is that we allow, indeed encourage, wealth accumulation by the fabulously successful few. Their creative success is, or at least can be, an enor...

I may suck, but Syracuse is worse. Man, Camden and Chester PA never looked so good. Wilmington must look like Boca Raton to you.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
06 isn't a former player??? Yikes, I'd been assuming he was, and in my mind, deserving of a bit of slack for being so sharply critical. You can't be serious. 06? Has anyone read any of his posts? Feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Are you sure about that GPA? I think it was more likely 2.6, not 3.6....

NFL opening night. As they introduce the starters “Ali Marpet, The Hobart College” First of all, YES! Secondly good for him to not call it The Colleges-Old School Hastings High School graduate, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Yep I’ve hung out with Ali and his family a few times. There’s a guy who posts he...

John O’Neill will never forget his first glimpse of Eamon McEneaney. It was the fall of 1971. John’s favored Massapequa football team traveled to Floral Park, N.Y., to face rival Sewanhaka. O’Neill’s squad wound its way through a riotous home crowd of purple and gold and took the field for warmups....

Have heard from a few people with direct knowledge that DeMaio will enroll in the winter ahead of the spring semester. So the Terps lose only Bernhardt from the offense and Grill from the defense. The entire rope unit returns (although I've heard Alex Smith had knee surgery this summer but is expec...

Ferris State is a good D II football school. I wonder if he's trying to catch the eye of an NFL scout? The answer is yes, and he already has. The best athlete in D1 lacrosse any year can compete with NFL players athletically. The next question is does that lacrosse player have the size, and the ans...

Could really use some news of some kind . . . IL's #41 ranked player, an attackman from St. Anthony's/Team 91, was on campus yesterday and posted an Instagram photo from inside Cordish captioned "incredible visit." The process is very much in motion—kids are just taking their time with de...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
I've never understood the concept of good academics d3 schools having amazing sports teams. Is it that kids who aren't good enough to play d1 just want the best education possible? You see williams and amherst at the top of these things all the time and it's hard to really understand what their adm...
