How do we feel about a second grade teacher taking a week to go
to an equestrian event? That’s what my daughters 2nd grade teacher is doing. On the one hand they have their lives too. On the other hand as civil servants who supposedly claim they are teachers for their love of children and that work it doesn’t seem very consideration given the school is finding positive tests weekly since starting back up 8/6. i only commented because you said this thing would be over. had it been we'd be further down the road, yada, i would agree and not said peep. and not on you, but you're far from the first to posit that general sentiment. i'm still not sure if people actually believe that or it's exaggeration for effect.a fan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:38 pmYes. Ask any virologist if the world would be further along if the US was at 90%, versus where we are now.
What will they say? You know the answer.
Then ask them how smart it is to allow the virus to mutate further, and give them, what---an extra (roughly) 100,000,000 unvaccinated Americans 12yo and over to feed on.
I know you've been playing devils advocate, and I appreciate that. But we're on the clock now that we have vaccine(s). Time matters.

Wanna attend PreSchool in Florida---public AND private? Here ya go:
Vaccines for....
DTaP
IPV
MMR
Varicella
Hib
Pneumococcal conjugate (PCV13)
Hepatitis B (Hep B)
..and more mandatory vaccines for K-12.
How about Pete's alma mater, UFlorida? Yup. He, too, was FORCED by the .gov to vaccinate.....

Recall that I asked one of the "fear porn" guys what his acceptable number of deaths from Covid was back in the early summer of 2020. He wouldn't give a number. Why? Because he knew he'd sound insane.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 10:59 pm It’s sad. All of this "anti-doctor" stuff sounds fine-----ASSUMING you don't care how many people die from this. So long as you don't care? Yep.....masks, vaccines, etc. are all stupid and pointless. Because it doesn't matter to you if the number is 100K, or 100M. So long as YOU don't die, there's no difference between one hundred thousand, and one million....right?
Except they don't. Look at the number of eligible, yet un vaccinated people showing up at hospitals.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 10:59 pm We now have people listening to Joe Rogan instead of doctors and scientists.
This is a new kind of stupid: if you don't believe what doctors tell you? What the F are you doing heading to a building full of doctors who will tell you what to do? This is "holy cr*p, how do you have enough brain cells to find your way home every night" level of stupidity.
If you don't believe in doctors, that's exiting news----stay the F home and die from Covid, and get your "health care" from the internet.

vaccines work.....ALL of them......always......because this is what I believe.
https://www.fairwarning.org/2018/12/vac ... -billions/
Yet the program’s payouts to those injured and their attorneys have mounted since the late 1980s, when the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act set up the vaccine court as an alternative to lawsuits for people seeking compensation for adverse reactions to vaccines. Payments—which surpassed $4 billion by Dec. 1, according to data from the federal Health Resources & Services Administration—come from a trust fund supplied by a surcharge on vaccines.
Documented vaccine injuries are extremely rare. Over the past 30 years, the vaccine court has received 20,123 petitions claiming injuries and deaths, of which nearly 18,000 have been resolved. Of those, 6,313 have been approved for compensation through settlements or judgments. According to the Health Resources & Services Administration, that translates into approximately one compensable case for every one million doses of vaccines administered.
emergency immunity, from lawsuits, these covid vaccine have. New type, approved by your hero DonTrump, clearly doesn't work......

anitbodies don't matter
Fisher noted that two-thirds of petitioners who apply for compensation are turned away, which she said departs from the original mandate to assume an injury was caused by a vaccine unless there is a more plausible explanation.
The Government Accountability Office echoed some of Fisher’s concerns in a 2014 review of the VICP, which emphasized that most of the claims filed since 1999 were taking years to adjudicate. More than 1,000 claims were pending as of 2014, with some petitioners stuck in limbo for over a decade, the watchdog agency said.
Imagine how many just don't even know you can file a claim.
Of course, we are keeping great, detailed records, of those vaccinated.
Remember, science says, you can't get covid twice, unlike the "flu"
Can you get covid 19 twice? why lie about the answer? Or ignore the question.
Natural immunity. Covid survivors have no rites

Sure, whether it's bleach or HCQ or ivermectin, none of it should be "promoted" or "claimed" as a cure for Covid until it's actually been proven as such by credible institutions and scientists.
You can try to keep yourself healthy and immune system stronger a whole range of perfectly appropriate ways, but spreading false hope of a miracle cure is indeed quite dangerous in the ways I've previously described, including being a drag on the public choosing to do things that actually do work, like getting vaccinated and various aspects of social distancing.
Ivermectin is not "snake oil" when applied to de-worming. It has valid uses.
Bleach is good for cleaning too. Valid use.
But when claimed to be a cure for Covid, these are "snake oil" claims.
Re: All things CoronaVirus
According to the National Poison Data System (NPDS), which collects information from the nation's 55 poison control centers, there was a 245% jump in reported ivermectin exposure cases from July to August — from 133 to 459. Year over year, January 1 - August 31, NPDS reports a 163% increase.

Not all jobs are equal. What if she comes back having contracted it and misses longer or spreads it within the school? There’s a difference between a total lockdown and going out and having fun during your work time, early in a year when we know this thing is ramping back up. Basically there’ll be no excuses if anything goes wrong. If she god forbid had to miss the rest of the year related to it I’d suggest she shouldn’t be teaching.
