Trump ultra fascists scream:

Nick Fuentes to Trump Supporters: “We are going to destroy the GOP” (for its failure to keep Trump in power)

MAGA crowd chants:

“Destroy the GOP! Destroy the GOP! destroy the GOP!”

Petey's beloved party hates its own membership.

... and these same metal midgets (hypocrites) witness minority rioting in there own neighborhoods and think it is nuts. No logic to it.

I would not count on this carrying much weight in the mind of most Trumpnista GOPers.

Haven’t they already?

I’d say they’ve beaten the Republican Party like Chris beats Michael’s dad in The Wire.

This could have been posted in so many topic thread, but since this one seems to cover a lot of them...

6 men indicted in alleged plot to kidnap Michigan governor

I think we’re going to see a lot of outcomes like this as Trumpism meets reality. Once they cross the lines of playtime in the woods and take it to the streets there’s going to be a rude awakening for these whacknuts.

I like the comments of defense attorneys who said their clients were “big talkers” who didn’t intend to follow through on the alleged plan even though they had meetings and had practiced maneuvers, probably down by the river.

As a New Yorker I'm feeling left out. How come nobody wants to kidnap King Andy? The trickiest part of the operation is how you get the King to shut up while your holding him.

He was IMPOTUS o d supporter. Still nothing from the WH on his death...

The U.S. Capitol Police Officer who was killed this week was a Trump supporter. Pence and Pelosi called the family of Brian Sicknick to offer their condolences. Trump has not publicly commented on the officer’s death or the other four people who died.

TLDR 77.

Stuff I saw on Parler --

I opened an account to lurk and amuse myself. This is what I found today:
"Wednesday was a Patriot Inch Erection!!"
I wonder what sort of combat patriot can type this and not feel awkward.....
"The patriots deserve to stage a Cootie Tot because of the Deep State...!!"
It took me a while to realize that this person was so eager to republish what he had viewed on NEWSMAX or OAN that he just went full on phonetic and didn't care. It's Coup d'Etat.

This brings up my larger point. When I grew up in a rather gritty Connecticut factory town, most of the kids graduating from High School marched on graduation day down to the Union Hall and got a job in the same plant their Dad had worked in for decades.

Starting annual pay was a little more than about twice what a nice new Oldsmobile cost. You'd never make a whole lot more than that, but you could then wander over to the local bank and get an FHA loan to buy a house up on Swede Hill and then go find your girlfriend and ask for her hand.

Your income was enough to raise a family and support a hobby and you had a pension so retirement wasn't a problem and your medical and insurance questions were solved and all you had to do is show up unless you were sick or wanted to use your PFT days.

That is gone. The men who had that deal are now dead or elderly, but men my age remember that and blame the government for letting this disappearance happen. And they're right.

Trump promised an ear (just an ear...) for this voter bloc and he straight up failed to follow through. Bernie promises a solution for this voter but he is called Socialist and is rejected by his party.

I understand why these men are pissed. I understand why they want the decades rolled back. I understand why they blame 'politicians and the State".

I just wish they could spell.

Reposting this here (originally posted on this forum by Kismet):

I voted against Arnie twice for California Governor, but he was and is a true patriot. And even though he was a non-politician, he took the job of Governor seriously (and literally), and (much unlike Trump) did a very credible job during his 8 years in office.

Same for me, except it was Ohio and the tire factories of Goodyear, Firestone, Goodrich, and General. My dad had that deal.

But here's why it went away.

After my dad retired, he would hang out at the independent donut shop in our little town, run by a friend of his in an old converted gas station.

One day, when I was back home visiting, he came home with a box of donuts from some chain.

"Is Charlie selling those now?" I asked.

"No, I got them at [big chain grocery store]."

"Why didn't you go to Charlie's?"

"These are cheaper."

"By how much?"

"A dime."

I laid into my dad about how long did he think Charlie would stay in business if everybody bought cheaper donuts from a chain. He sheepishly agreed.

But the larger point is that he bought the cheaper chain donuts without a moment's thought.

And that's what we've all been doing for the past few decades. Buying the cheaper donuts from the chain. And reaping the consequences.

CU, I'd argue that it's the shops fault for not having better "marketing" and making smarter changes including communicating with your dad (and their other consumers) about why they should buy their donuts.

I had the exact same conversation with a guy about Wal-Mart. I told him saving 99 cents for a pack of underwear is going to ruin the country....
