You might want to start wrapping your head around it

What does Hopkins people feel about this hire ? It’s interesting to say the least. This search firm worked w Fairfield who hired Baxter. Fairfield was 5-2 in 20’, w some soft tissue games. They gave up 16 goals a game w the former Yale DC as HC. Obviously, things happened in this process. Assistant hires will be important.

"It'd confuse Cuse fans"???
I don't think so, think they'd get a mighty big kick out of it.

Cuse fans may be confused or more likely they will be absolutely loving the turn of events. You know who will be confused is Stagnitta and Tomei.

I don't know, you already seem pretty confused by it.

Thank you, 77. What an honor. I want to thank my parents, my agents, and all my teachers who said I would never amount to anything. I would be remiss if I didn’t also give a shoutout to John Galloway. Welcome aboard, Coach.

Well, will it "never happen" or is it a "maybe, just maybe?"

Anywho, over at one of the Syracuse boards, a guy who has posted an unfathomable 120,000 times wrote, in all caps, that one should "NEVER take sides against the family."

This should satisfy the guys complaining about goalie play because, obviously, that’s the only thing that was holding the team back!

So I’ve been trying to keep it under wraps but I guess now is as good a time as any to announce that I, Farfromgeneva, will be the next head coach of Johns Hopkins.

My first move will be to allow videotaping access everywhere including the showers. Then I will go to New York and hold Michael Bloomberg upside down by the ankles and shake him until another $1Bn is dropped into an endowed lacrosse fund. Then hold the heads of ESPN hostage until they sign a Donovan McNabb style, 100yr contract with us.

Thanks in advance for all your support!
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Renaming the field Bozwood is on the list of priorities, I hope.

Above all else for Galloway getting out of Jacksonville and staying a step ahead in these fiscally austere times may be priority one. If what posters are saying is true, he has just landed a job at a storied program and is leaving a school that was in real financial trouble pre-virus. As a Forbes Magazine article pre-virus indicated Jacksonville had the fifth lowest score for fiscal soundness out of all 933 institutions they rated. It is by far the lowest in all D1 lacrosse. The school dropped its football program this winter. I have been to Jacksonville and with all due respect it is far and away the worst college campus I have ever been on. It is a dump!!!

As a former Towson Tiger if what is posted is true I am happy we are keeping Nadelen. He is a proven commodity and I am excited to see how he can get the program back to where it was just one year ago.

He won't coach; he'll just roll the ball out and say "Let's go!".
Lars will try to stall our run-and-gun.
We may all have heart attacks, but at least it will be fun.

Coach Galloway in a Hopkins hat with the blue jay on it.
Cuse v Hop at the Domewood. I'm pulling for John, hope
he gets the job (although I wouldn't wish it upon anyone).

Galloway?

Interesting choice if true.

Not at all the “safe” choice (Nadelen).

This would be one of those legacy-gambling, job-wagering, career-defining, this-is-all-on-you-if-things-go-bad type selections.

No doubt, Coach Galloway is a serious young coach with big ambitions. Jacksonville’s new lacrosse center is a physical manifestation of that.

Someone claiming to know it's Galloway:

And a podcaster who says he'll be interviewing Galloway on Wednesday:

Amazing what can be dug up by a twitter search!
