In the second linked article posted by wgdsr there's this picture:
Image
That middle picture comes from a game v Hopkins when the Z man was a freshman.
Pretty ballsy shot (didn't see the BTB nearly as much, or by as many players, in those days) from a freshman against a team/program as highly regarded as Hopkins lacrosse. Z man slinging it BTB v the Goliath of lacrosse.
At the beginning of each season in that era (Simmons, the artistic one) Cuse came out with a pamphlet/booklet. Had little bits about the previous and upcomiong seasons in it, along with a list and little write ups about all the players. That picture was on the cover of the '88 book. Just get a sheet with the list of players these days.
Cuse had the best of posters back then too (thanks, Roy)

I should have posted a disclaimer about the announcement. I don't think the search firm is done earning their money, sorry for the inconvenience. You'll get your guy when they finish with the colonoscopy and overall negotiations.

And there are people on this thread who don't know who John Zulberti is? Or his jacked-up socks?

I did hear that Galloway was in Baltimore and visited campus, accepted a night manager job at Royal Farms, and bought a row house in Hampden.

I’m becoming 99% sure it’s not Nadelen.

Might not be anyone on that initial list in that IL article either.

I’m expecting a surprise.

Stay tuned.

I heard it’s going to be Gary Gait, like bad Hulk Hogan walking down the runway with a spray painted black beard. He just Co-signed car loans for Scanlon, Trimboli and a bunch of other guys before signing the contract w Hop.

If they hire anyway tied to Syracuse Lacrosse I think that signals the program is not now what we all know it was.

And the Hophins administration is taking off in a very strange new way.

ZulbertiSocks wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2020 6:55 pm It's official. The announcement will be made tomorrow [Saturday]. Welcome, Coach....never mind, you'll have to wait. They have their guy...it's not Galloway. Never was. Announcement tomorrow, everyone can stop pretending they know something. The new coach's last name rhymes with "obvious choice". But it has been fun reading about all of these so-called scenarios.

Aside from the many obvious reasons, it'd be quite strange if it were Galloway since he literally just landed another transfer on Friday—Christian Tomei the goalie from Ohio State announced he's going to Jacksonville to play for Galloway. And last week Matt Stagnitta announced he was transferring there—how bizarre would it be if Stagnitta left Hopkins for Jacksonville only for his would-be coach, Galloway, to turn around and leave Jacksonville for Hopkins a week later?

Maybe Petro is going to Jax and building up a transfer team to win the title?
