I got a new sticker for my bike just in case someone wants to use it.

Subjective, yes, but can't agree with the if ever there were a year part, I just don't see any year in which a GK can be considered the best lacrosse player in the game for the reasons stated above. You've not presented much (any) of a case there. The last thing I want to do on May 31st is debate y...

Can't remember the last time I watched any of the morning "news" shows but I did this morning. Cohen was outstanding on GMA, he echoed my opinion of Trump, absolutely nailed it. How those millions upon millions see this slimy shyster as the man they want for their president is truly disapp...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024
I thought Entenmann deserved it. In a year when Ajax won the Enners that would have been poetic justice. Entenmann is an outstanding GK, I don't believe that's even debatable. I struggle mightily, however, with crowning a GK the best player in all of college lacrosse inasmuch as there's just so muc...

Joe and I agree: https://www.instagram.com/p/C7mE6WHsWd8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Can't happen, youth, gotta be a separate award for GKs. Might be the MVP on a team but just too many phases of the game they don't play to be considered the best in the game. Comes with the territory when you play...

BetweenTheLines wrote I can't personally attest to anything that happened 46 years ago. I can, and back about fourteen years earlier re lacrosse, and another 12 or so for things in general none of which I am an expert or authority in. Should we actually view 50 year old championships as if they wer...

You are 100% correct, Chousnake.
Question, when a team wins back to back to back titles does that count as one team?
Nope.
Back to back doesn't count as one team either.
Yup, you're 100% correct, not even sniffing.

Re: A Modest (Releasable) Rule Proposal?
How many times have you seen a stick knocked out of a player's hands and the ball is still in the stick when it hits the ground?
My guess would be that's the reason the rule is what it is.

Re: Mikey Powell appreciation thread
When the Canadian twins showed up at Syracuse (they missed fall ball, came in the next semester) they were scoffed at by their teammates because they essentially had no off hand, sucked at drills, cuz ya know you've got to be able to go with both hands. The next year everyone wanted to be able to pl...

What is it, go back to the 80s sticks?
I'd like to see the play brought back, as has been noted, a reward for a job well done.
Have no idea why it was canned either.

Re: BC NORTHWESTERN
It was a great game and a great advertisement for how the women’s game, while different in some key respects, can be a lot of fun to watch. And it’s always rewarding to see stars playing at the top of their game. Not only a fun game to watch, but a beautiful game to watch. The sticks don't do the w...
