Re: Hobart 2020

Cuse is really good and their top two midfield lines are starting to gel which presents a matchup challenge for us. This could be the weakest defensive core that they’ve had for quite sometime now which works to our advantage. We don’t need to play perfect but we need to minimize our mistakes & ...

SLU Coaches know what they're doing with the schedule. Sometimes history and tradition trumps SOS.

Re: New England West 2020

Trust me you don’t want to be Ty’s #1. I feel bad for Calvert Hall now.
Deerfield has a number of new faces that will make some noise this year. I did hear that one PG blew out his knee?
I still like Bury- they lost a ton but they’ve reloaded again.

Re: Hobart 2020

Gate was hanging with Princeton for awhile but they eventually rolled over. Seems to be a trend with the Red Raiders-its important that we get off to a fast start and they'll take themselves out of the game.

Sowers from Princeton with 11 assists - crazy good.

Engineers squeaked one out vs Scranton. Don’t know much about the Royals but I’m thinking this was a surprise.

Re: Lehigh 2020

Looked like it was going to get out of hand early. Cavs were doing everything right and Hawks looked rattled. After they pumped the brakes and went to a zone they seemed to play better. Spence started to settle down and was looking like himself. Ultimately too many turnovers and a goose egg on manup...

Re: Utah 2020

I agree completely with you about the Utes, and in my opinion, they may be a top 30 team. I was very surprised to see Sexton go back in after the trainer examined him. That was a hard hit, and was concerned it was a serious knee injury. He's an excellent player. Awesome I didn’t see him come back i...

Re: Utah 2020

The Utes will turn some heads this year. Very athletic and if they clean some things up they'll have some success.
I saw that unfortunate hit on Sexton late in the game by his teammate and it didn't look good. Hope he's able to return- they'll need him going forward.

Re: Hobart 2020

I totally missed how Knox went down just saw him down and ted pontificating about a penalty on Canisius. Did notice Yanko get jacked 2-3 times and archer and knox at least once in the crease w no calls. I was able to scrub back the video and see that Knox got tangled up with the Canisius defender o...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2020

Could be another nail bitter this year and it’ll come down to who stays healthy longest. 1.RIT gotta give it to the tigers until they show otherwise 2. SLU- best year to make a run with a huge senior class 3.Union- lost a couple key starters - goalie,f/o, defender, attack but has the majority of the...

Re: Hobart 2020

Here we go- just watched Cuse/Gate and lacrosse in Upstate is officially on. Our top six on offense could be the best we’ve had in awhile- so goals shouldn’t be a problem. That being said- Arch needs to be on the field 100% of the time- he should be running attack -end of discussion. F/O is the big ...

Mellen was getting rinsed by Griffin Brown before he got hurt
Agreed Brown went off but Mellon is their leader and Cuse D looked lost after he went down. If Porter didn’t make some huge saves and Gate didn’t pi$$ away a 2 min unreleasable the score would’ve been even closer.

Cuse is solid but if Mellon is out for awhile they are gonna give up a lot of goals.

Beardsley is perfect as a color commentator.

Re: Empire 8 2020

Fisher has all the momentum and now has coach that came in with credentials and made some noise in year 1 & 2. I think SJF’s upside is huge and they’ll be relevant for years. This does not bode well for Naz and Randall. First RIT leapfrogs the Flyers and hasn’t looked back and now SJF is beating...

Fisher should have their way in E8 for awhile.
Sad to see a conference that was once a force look this weak. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fisher doesn’t start looking for a new home. I just don’t know where they would land if they left.

Re: Hobart 2020

Kind of eh, especially the home slate, but it could mean 10 wins if the team performs. Kinda eh is right! For me a 10 win season is meaningless if we can't get to play on the big stage and be competitive. The 2008 team went 8-6 and didn't make the tournament either but they played Georgetown, Rutge...

I’m not convinced that adding two more NEC games and losing two OOC games is a good thing for us.
