Re: Princeton versus Maryland

Look at the original play. They didn’t show it on the replays, but he also points at him on the ground, seems to say something to him as he walks by. I thought it should have at least been 1 minute full time, but the ref was right there, and they will protect a kids head.

Re: 2022 D3 NCAA Tournament Bracket

I think it's pretty clear that NESCAC is the strongest conference in lacrosse over time. But every so often a conference will have an exceptional year, which the Liberty League did this year, and take the throne. But it always reverts back to NESCAC. NESCAC has too much history, a large advantage in...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022

Congrats to Union and RIT, really shows the strength of the LL. SLU however must be fuming seeing Union make the finals as they handily beat them in Schenectady in the LL semis but ended up on the much tougher side of the bracket. Obviously they had their shot at making the title themselves but the...

Re: 2022 Division III Men's All-Americans

I do like the lettuce, but what really caught my attention on the link was #24 on the SMC senior picture. He looks like he's 39 years old, has a wife a three kids, drives a minivan, and is behind on his mortgage.

Re: Dallas dropping lacrosse

I don't know Loftis, but I know some of the previous coaches. This isn't about any coach building a program, there is almost no way this program could succeed. Too many things stacked against them. I'm somewhat knowledgeable about lacrosse in Dallas, and I would say they are an afterthought at best....

Re: NESCAC

Delay of game call with less than one minute left in a one-goal game? Let em play, refs! When the refs have to be police escorted out after a lacrosse game, you know they f*cked up Or, crazy parents/fans actIng like spoiled children because they didn’t agree with something. It’s no wonder we have a...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022

Well, bound to lay an egg eventually. Not to say that losing to SLU is awful. They are obviously a good team and the loss, while an upset, isn't shocking. It's losing by six at home that is surprising.

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022

It’s great the the LL has some very good teams at the top (and don’t count out St Lawrence), but while while RPI’s win was huge for that program, and the LL in general, it’s still RIT’s throne until someone wins the LL tourney. I can see these teams beating each other through the end of the season, ...

Re: Texas HS Lacrosse

If that was Episcopal Dallas, that would be a very surprising loss. For Episcopal Houston, eh, not a huge surprise. Houston is pretty good. Not Dallas but still pretty good. http://app.lummys.com/team/7488/2022 I would appear that Episcopal School of Dallas and Dallas Jesuit are the cream of the cr...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2022

One factor will be Union playing a lot of big games on the road: SLU, RPI, RIT (in addition to Tufts, Williams, SJF, Springfield and Endicott). Ithaca is the only big home game.
That is one tough schedule.

I love Saratoga, it is a great town...from May through August. The rest of the time it's just like Union, RPI, RIT, Ithaca etc.

Re: Texas HS Lacrosse

All for teams making the playoffs, but having Kingwood (1-11) go up to Vandy to play makes little sense Basically, every Class A team made the playoffs Make need to limit it to 8(the second 8) for Class A (as opposed to Class AA) I'd usually agree with you, but given the strangeness of this year, I...

Re: Texas HS Lacrosse

The dates are set aside, but not sure I've seen anything regarding location. Understanding is that the Top 8 are selected (I've heard through a committee of coaches/admins, hopefully not based on any computer rankings), and as of now, here would be my guess who that would be: Locks (in no particula...
