Yes, and it's been mentioned previously in the thread. Apparently had a public (via twitter) altercation with a former player. I can't comment specifically on what was said since I've never seen it.

Coming dangerously close to 2024 and still waiting. Any movement on naming a coach? I've heard through the grapevine a certain former club owner is very interested. Seems like it could be a good fit (although as far as I know, no college coaching experience...).

Based on the time it's taking to name a HC, I can't see them starting in Spring 2026. Not sure about the Title IX implications on delaying, but seems like it would be a real rush job to start (although Clemson, Xavier, and FDU coaches all had less than 2 years before their inaugural season).

Just learned through the grapevine that FSU just decided on a coach.
Nothing will be officially announced until the new coach's current season is done in May, but I imagine it will leak before then. All I will say is impressive hire, all things considered. Not a wow coach, but a current top 25 coach with a decent track record.

A quick glance and I think we can probably narrow it down to top 10-25...but that's just my guess. It doesn't seem likely any of the top 10 would leave.

1. Northwestern - No Way
2. Boston College - There were rumors of her moving on last year but can't see it being to FSU
3. North Carolina - No Way
4. Denver - Not out of the question but highly doubtful
5. Syracuse - No Way
6. Maryland - No Way
7. Notre Dame - Unlikely
8. James Madison - Highly Unlikely
9. Loyola - No Way
10. Stony Brook - Highly Unlikely
11. Johns Hopkins - No Way
12. Florida - Doubt she would want to start over at a new program at her age
13. Army - Possibility but doubtful
14. Penn State - See Florida
15. Penn - No way
16. USC - Has inquired on jobs back east in the past

I say Michelle Tumolo is who they should have made an offer she can't refuse. Just not convinced FSU is really committed to support the program to lure a big name down south. The quality of women at Army is as good as it gets, but I assume it's a tough sell to most of the top recruits. Amazing place to go to school, but there is nothing easy about 4 years at West Point.

Don't think it's any of the legacy coaches. Legacy meaning a coach who's been in the same program for 10+ years. It' really difficult to pry them away from their current schools for a variety of reasons. It's Tumolo
