IL Women All Americans

Post by jff97 »

The list is out. Boston College and Northwestern have the most with 7, while Syracuse and Denver have 6. For the purists out there, please note that Ellie Masera is included as attack in this list. They also include a spot for a draw player, unlike US Lacrosse Magazine.

Syracuse top team in the country for most of the year but only gets 2 placed on 1st or 2nd all-america. Same amount as James Madison and Notre Dame. Northwestern and BC get 5 each? Emma Ward should have been 2nd team and Emma Tyrell 3rd team at least.

How is the honorable mention list has 3x more attackers than defenders on it while the 1/2/3 team has the same amount of each.
Somewhat ridiculous….
