UMD is Big Ten. We have the money to do whatever they want. Unc and BC are locked into the low rent ACC. They won’t ever catch UMD in nattys … end of story.
Maybe time to live in the present? Not exactly sure how so many championships from '86-'01 are relevant for present day recruits.
The Acc competition would drop to their knees beg to be in the Big Ten. They aren’t valuable enough to be invited because they would cause member schools to make less money.

15 nattys include 2010, 2014,2015, 2017,2019
2020 no season
Final 8 2021 #1 recruiting class
Final 4 2022 #1 recruiting class
I attended two legit Big Ten schools. Maryland is still a wannabe. How they were ever let in is beyond me.
Well on MD's end, the athletic department was broke. The Big 10 wanted the DC TV market. Maryland fits the Big 10 model of mostly state universities, but definitely doesn't have that hunky-dory Midwestern school spirit that I feel like embodies the conference.
MD might fit the model, as you say, but they will never be seen as legit within the great conference that is the Big Ten. Even Penn State, after all these years, is still seen as an outsider. Maryland (and Rutgers) will be outsiders forever. It's a travesty that you brag up MD by invoking the Big Ten.
Show me where I bragged up MD by invoking the Big Ten. All I did was share my perspective as a recent grad.

UMD, UCLA and Rutgers are givers

Most BiG schools and all ACC schools are or would be takers.

You're not worth screwing around with, fenny, I know that going in but man, you make a complete ass of yourself....regularly, I might add.'
How many of those 44 Hop titles were determined by four guys in a dark room at night looking at the 6 wins they had that season? Oh, and were they a member of the B1G at the time?
How many of those Md titles were as a member of the B1G....and you do know they held the record for longest time between NCs before Cornell took that spot, right?
You don't embarrass easily but you should be here.

Championships count before the NCAA and after it ceases to exist in the near future .

Titles won by (or given to) teams prior to being in the B1G aren't inherited by the B1G.
Am done with you now, you're a tool and just not worth it.
Here take a little break. Enjoy.

We can't hold that against the Lady Turtle, you can pick your school but you can't pick your relatives.

I don't think he's related to anyone. I used to write and help run the SB Nation Maryland site. He was a troll then about mostly football and men's basketball. I graduated back in 2019 and still look at the site, and he's doing the same thing. Now he's just found another outlet for his trolling, but this time about Maryland women's lacrosse. Not sure what kind of connection he has to the school. So PLEASE just ignore him or report him if it becomes excessive again. Do not feed the troll.
