She was probably just trying to “armpit” some hidden gem UMass player which I know FFG Jr (and all Hobart fans) appreciate.

I’m sure it’s not the first mistake made in this league. Especially because you messed up letting Jr in. Just remember, Nick Saban didn’t win the title his first year but then…

Maybe it’s a new technique and we should be happy to have a female in our presence so we learn new techniques and that girls actually do do it better?

In the event that this is true, "Matthew Cargiulo FR M UMass" is currently available to any and all coaches. GDIB needs to drop a player to get Cargiulo.

Apologies, please drop Jack Gray, Soph, Duke.

I’d like to keep Carigulo with that pick and be live this leaves an open slot for a defense I thought can confirm that please?

FfG Jr checked this before school this morning and asked me “do you even need a defense?”

Man I swear he’s so burned by Yale’s D o could stick a USNWR in front of him showing Yale at 3 or whatever too 5 spot they hold and he’d shake his head and go “nope, fake news”.

Run and gun only works with great goalie/D/face offs. You need the ball to R&G.

Eh, there's been some Syracuse teams that just won track meets all season to success before.

While we have a brief lull in the Draft, in your time in the league, the one player you wanted that you thought you were going to get... until someone grabbed the player out from under you?

Sam English. FCA drafted him in round two two years ago one pick before mine. I got Jeffrey Ricciardelli with the next pick, who won the championship for me this past spring when he had 2 points on my bench after ending regulation with a tie vs. TLD, so I'm happy enough with how things went.

If you had Sam English, it might not have been a tie. He had 16 points last season. But, yes, a young Ricciardelli isn't a bad replacement.

Mine is similar. For me, many years ago, over ten years ago, Nick O'Reilly was an upper classman at UVA and I really thought he'd be overlooked... until PA Talk grabbed him. O'Reilly was suspended for a season due to a team infraction and he was an upper classman so I wasn't going to get 4 quality seasons out of him anyway and... I wanted him and really thought he'd be overlooked. I think PA Talk got one quality season out of the kid. But it was a high-quality season. I wanted him. Ended up with a freshman Dan Muller (UMass). He was a much better pick points-wise over 4 years but, for that one season that O'Reilly performed like a champion, I wanted him on Team Matnum.

English might've been injured by that point. I can't remember.

I remember identifying Pat Kavanagh as the guy I wanted to draft before the 2020 draft. I had the #10 pick, and there were a lot of highly regarded attackman who would possibly be available, including J.J. Sillstrop, Mike Long, Robert Schain, Alex Slusher and Kavanagh. Sillstrop was picked #9 and I grabbed Kavanagh at #10. Long went #13 to Matnum, OCanada got Schain, who might've been my next choice after Kavanagh. Schain was great in HS. Slusher went to FCA at #18. Adam Charalambides went to Greenie at #17 and PA got Jack Hannah at #14. Round 2 was not fruitful for many. The best picks were Mitch Bartolo, Jake Taylor and Owen Murphy. NC, I didn't follow Hofstra enough to know how your guys did. Evan James went in round 3, but not much else. OC got Payton Cormier is the 4th freaking round. Redbirds Metro took Angelus in the 4th and Poitras in the 5th. That's impressive. I got Mike Tobin in the 5th. That's worked out well. Joey Kamish, Lance Tillman and Jake Stevens came after that. PA got Ross Scott in the 6th round. 2 picks before mine. I think he was on my radar for my next pick.
