Congratulations to Mac O'Keefe now the official NCAA goals scored record holder (with an * given Zach Greer's uncounted goals for with Bryant). A worthy achievement in any case. Michigan is starting to look like a competent D1 program despite the 1 goal loss. I'll be curious to see how they perform in the BIG Tourney.

On the OT goal, they acted like O'Keefe was just some random dude they didn't need to pay attention to. Oh, let's just let the best college shooter in the game get a time and room shot from 12 yards.
Agree, how do you let him sit top side in OT? Crazy. Actually all day he had room. Why let him beat you.

Michigan deserves to lose that game based on their defense. Why would you even slide off of O'Keefe? Make someone else beat you. Its as simple as that yet they don't have that in the gameplan??

Why not just shut him off? Someone else gets you, they get you. But you know where the ball is going to go first

Trying to find the case for PSU to be substantially improved in 2022 and I don’t see anything. Personally think TJ Malone is criminally underrated, 61pts in his last 16 games over 20-21, 38 in 9 this year. After OKeefe and Malone there’s nothing. Only four kids total in double digits in 9 games. Knees was expected to be strong but hasn’t been so Soph might be better. I don’t know recruits but I see one 5 star that’s a goalie and a bunch of 4 stars but where is the offense, and whatever else, coming from beyond Malone (and possibly Foulds but who knows) Next year?

For that matter why should I be excited about the 22 prospects for anyone other than UMD? All seriousness given significant Stars presences, nothing at goalie or Fo to speak of and not elite offensive players returning?

not to take away from marylands excellence, but to me the story is Rutgers. a FF birth for them would be a huge boost for the conference and that program.

How can you declare anything about '22 before transfer season and 5th (or 6th) year returnees are declared? Entire teams change in the offseason.

Their starting attack couldn’t even start in a Harvey Weinstein produced college hi-jinks movie so then and Kirst moving into what’s left?

So Millikan, Myers and Tambroni are going to make waves in the transfer portal this summer? Is that what your are suggesting? Or have some transformative, and not DocB level but real transformative, recruit coming in?

I have no idea. But I don't think you or anybody else does either.

I mean we can can see what is coming back and what the committed pipeline looks like. They are all different but I seriously doubt PSU or RU or OSU grabs much from the Ivies, Hop could be different. So that limits the landscape and I have to think more kids might be willing to waive an extra year to start working at this point.

Otherwise sure we can wait til next 1/8(/22) or so and then discuss but I’m looking at what’s coming back and in the pipeline and I don’t see how 3-7, 2-8 turns into 7-3 or better unless they schedule the bottom 15 programs for all their OOC next year.

My thinking is the same.
With Tambroni and company the plan is to be consistently
in the running for an NCAA bid, which under more normal
circumstances would be the case for most of the B1G
schools.
Things will level for the Nits.
They were oversold this year. It happens. No reason to
undersell them next year.
Last year’s class was good, this year’s not so much, next
year looks like a very good class.
Tambroni can’t be gun shy in playing his freshmen.
Not much to go on, but I like what I saw from the new
goalie, maybe they revert back to a more defensive
oriented team.

Coaching. It’s a matter of understanding personnel, putting the right players on the field, and making sure kids know their assignment.

A mythical final four run for ANY team would be nice, but you're getting way way ahead of yourself on Rutgers.

Is it common to leave out an entire position when these things are determined or is this a 1st time thing this season?
Also only 1 SSDM chosen between 2 teams?

I know there is a shortage of spots and a surplus of deserving players in the B1G, but Knobloch v Boehm for Freshman of the Year is an interesting debate....
