Union smoked Williams and RIT struggled with Stevens…don’t write your narrative too quickly now!
Anyone have any context from the RIT/Stevens game?

RIT very poor shooting, low energy.
Turnovers, particularly on set 6v6 offence.
Stevens D played well in terms of game plan and execution.

Larries woke up for the third period vs WNEU. Coach must have read them the riot act. They flattened out in the fourth, not good. This is one of those big games you can’t afford to lose. WNEU is a strong team so the eventual win was good. Really though SLU has to be able to put it together for four periods. Huiatt is a good add for them he seems more dynamic on offense, without him things seem to get bogged down. Anyway SLU looks better than last year and will push Union and RPI a little harder for 2nd in the Liberty. RIT is still at the top.

Well, I imagine he's getting close but obviously he will continue to coach the Bombers until he leaves of his own volition.

But he must be, what, in his mid-60s by now? That said, upgrading from a coach of his caliber is hardly a given.

That game was so good for WNE. It was a great night in the lax world for those guys. It was a game for the ages.
Meanwhile my Tigers not so much. Hasn't been a game like that since the early 90's. WNE is for real! Old School all the way.
Let's give that coach respect. They were so good that night.

WNEC and Klepacki have been around the block a few times in the last 15 or so years. And in the past they have had SLUs number. They should take care of business in the Commonwealth and get into the tournament then things will get really tough for them. We should get an idea about how tough with Bowdoin and Amherst coming up soon.

If you think SLU was better than WNE you must have watched a different game. WNE outplayed them for ver over 3 quarters. The 2 goal difference was a goal with 14 seconds left in the half due to a poor decision not to protect the pile and then a score 4 seconds into the 3rd. SLU came out in the 3rd fired up and WNE was flat that was the difference. Both defenses are very good and was a good game to watch.

I believe that is pretty much what I said. SLU came out hot in the third and that was it. Go back and read my comments.

What was the final score? Seems like they were better.

Everyone should give WNE respect. Facts and it's undeniable. If they peak at the right time and win face-offs that can win a playoff game.
Their offense is very well structured. It was an X and O display by them. Now I'm going to start watching Union.
Does anyone have any opinions on them? Williams is good on their SOS

Yes, Union is very good from what I’ve seen. Their top 4 or 5 middies are very strong and they have an attack with tons of experience. They’re winning faceoffs and goalie is phenomenal! Could definitely make an NCAA push.
