7-3 Bucs. No semblance of Quint and Anish
with the broadcasting duo. These two are good.

Tommy Terrific to Gronk X 2. TOUCHDOWN!!!!
14-3.
Romo is terrible.

Just like death and taxes, it was a given that Brady's team would get all of the calls.
Any team receiving the benefit of the calls still has to cash in the chips.

Tommy Terrific throws strike #3 to the end zone.
Patrick and boys not out yet.
21-6, halftime.

Brady's teams get calls that would make Michael Jordan blush

Tommy Terrific and Gronk pull off the big switch and win it all...again.
Tommy MVP?

Should be White (#45) 13 tackles (9 solo), 2 TFLs, 1 int 1 PD and held KC to single digits (even w/o their two starting tackles including Fisher).

I thought the Tampa Bay DL should be the MVP as they stifled KC completely.

Well, that pretty much ends the GOAT discussion for a looong time.

Huge reason they held the high flying Chiefs and Pat Mahomes to 0 touchdowns. They were up in his grill All Night. What a demolition job.

Still maintain singularly the most impactful performances On defense were White, Barrett, JPP, Suh in that order.

Interesting game and stoked for my Hobart boy Ali Marpet (all pro,6th yr starting, 2nd rd pick-60th, #74 picked up that block in the last Fournette TD) but it has to be acknowledged both KC offensive tackles were out including Erik Fisher who was a #1 overall pick a handful of years ago. Not sure the game plays out the same with one or both in there.

Brady’s line tonight:

21/29 3 TD’s 0 INT

Brady put his team up early which always paves the way for a defense to pin their ears back and go after the QB. He deserved it. He was the reason this team got to the SB and won.

That stretch where they sucked was when Marpet was out w a concussion.

Problem w Brady getting it today, even though it would’ve taken something beyond extraordinary for anyone else to get it, is he didn’t go long. His YPC/YPA (under 10 per completion and under 7 per attempt) were low because he was playing like checkdown Alex Smith for the most part (or Peyton Manning in his last SB). This was a team win, I thought Gronk or Fournette made solid cases but it should’ve been someone on the D.

The theory about his game allowing them to pin their ears back is nonsense if you watched from the start. They were on it from early on (the D). The missing starting OTs are a bigger reason for their success than Brady.

He’s locked in Goat and all that but if we look at the whole game he’s probably the 3-5th most impactful player for them today realistically.

Good job giving credit where credit is due by you. Who threw the TD’s?

“Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians, in an interview with ESPN's NFL Primetime show, says of Tom Brady: "He's a winner, man. That's all you can say. He brought a winning mentality to a really talented football team that didn't know how to win.’”

We don’t have to tickle his balls too, he’s got Giselle for that. I give credit to the OL and DL you’re out of your element.

Here’s some data. 2020 regular season.

6.9 yards per attempt was good for 23rd in the league, tied with Gardner Minshew and Mitch Trubisky.

Tom Brady’s yards per attempt tonight: 6.9

Four (4) guys were above 8.0 for the entire season, let alone a single game.

CBS crew names Devin White player of the game. I wouldn’t have yelled foul if he got the MVP. He was an obvious and dominant force all game.

That’s who I had nothing him early scraping and blasting the RB on an outside run in Q1.

All your selective stats are worth a fart in the wind. Brady made the plays when he had to. He threw the touchdowns. He commandeered the offense. He was cool and calm while the Chiefs melted down. He made it possible and was mostly responsible for the 31 points his team put up. Game, set, match. Buh-bye.
