Well, each player did go into the game with an I'm on Fire mindset.

So the QuACkers have told everyone loud and clear that (1) the tournament was not legit because their fave team wasn't in it, and (2) the real championship game was in the QFs, now over and done.

Wonder what that will do for attendance/viewership of "championship weekend" (as they insist on calling it)?

And does anyone at ESPN management care that their top talent has spent the past week badmouthing their own product?

I hope Anish can talk about ALL the players in the game. I think he only has notes on the Kirst family.

The QuACkers doing pretty well so far staying focused on the game. I think it really helps to have Carc on the sideline instead of in the booth, where he and Q always get too jokey jokey.

this is a good take. the graphic w/where do ff players come from was really good. The pacific west having more players than minnesota/ohio/indiana/michigan/illinois/wisconsin was not good for the big ten and midwest considering the conference has now existed for 7 years, has 2 teams in the ff and the other 2 are nationally known ivies. They're actually focused somewhat on the game not syracuse, not duke, not gait, not the acc, not what else is going on in the sport. Quint especially tends to treat broadcasts like it's an opportunity to tell the national audience about what else is going on in the sport trying to promote the game as a whole rather than what's going on in the one he's covering. They are still talking over the huddle sound which is a mistake.

The gallagher hit pivot to the adam doneger 2000 game was one of the better moments.
