That is because the CDC said as much post shot for a time period. We can thank Biden and Fauci as well.....telling us even if you are vaccinated you may not be able t celebrate July 4th, or attend Thanksgiving. Is

HUH???

Quite the opposite statement.

Even if vaccinated, if exposed to a known infection, quarantine for a few days VERSUS If vaccinated, must stay home for 30 days...because what, the vaccine exposes one to the virus???

Come on.

We know that we can still get infected, even if vaccinated, and if infected, we can spread, even if vaccinated. It ain't perfect. Better, but not perfect.

But the vaccine never makes us infectious.
And no one at CDC or Biden etc have ever said otherwise.
I read that too fast....I thought they were referring to quarantining after their vaccine, as noted in the new Biden Federal mandate; you must wait 14 days AFTER last shot to be considered 'fully vaccinated"..from your link..

Covered employees must be fully vaccinated by December 8, so the last dose must be taken no later than November 24 (the day before Thanksgiving) to meet this deadline.

Oh, the Dems will get clobbered for it. No question in my mind. Every small biz I know is mad about any mandates or limitations .

Because you can’t limit a businesses operations without compensation for restrictions. And Ppp loans weren’t enough for many small businesses that require in-person workers, or in-person customers.

Unfortunately, the Rs aren’t offering small government republicans this cycle. They’re offering tinfoil hat nation.

 How many more times do I have to type "agree to disagree". To me, it's obvious where 90% of the disinformation leading to vaccine-resistance is coming from, and who it is influencing.
actually, what you said was 90% of the unvaccinated (or all) were a result of this propaganda. twice.

To you, it's not, and this is one big unsolved mystery as to why the vaccine rate for the landed (and Republican) gentry in Pitkin and Eagle county is well over 90% (Aspen and Vail)...while the poorest, least educated counties of Colorado are well under 50%.
those specifics are yours, isolated, and don't speak to many other scenarios.
I think it's propaganda. You don't. Okay. We're good. Agree to disagree.
to be clear, my position is that i don't know how it all stacks up. and neither do you. you believe you do. we're good.
When you work in rural parts of Colorado....parts that are 300 miles apart.....and you keep hearing the same tinfoil hat stories again and again and again, almost verbatim....and it's in sych with talking points from Tucker et. al.... and you see things like polls that show that 2/3rds of Republicans STILL think that ONLY the Trump-Biden part of the ballot is fraudulent, demonstrating the power of right wing media?

And then you see the vaxx rates in this counties? It's awful hard to ignore the power of right wing media/social media.

But yep, you're right. Can be just anecdotal. Can be a coincidence. And it can be that tens of thousand of Coloradans in these SPECIFIC counties are all just afraid of needles, while rich counties right next door coincidentally don't have people who are afraid of needles., and coincidentally have a 90%+ vaccination rate.

I can't prove my ideas, and we both know it. So yep, you're right. I'm theorizing. That part I agree with here....
man, getting bounced around like a dodgeball.

let me recap?
- i commented that in fact there are potentially 10s of millions of people (and potentially a sizable majority) of people that are not maga, holding off. as the subject of them being the problem in anti-vaxx world was rehashed. i believe you may not have come in yet to the convo.
- you then said i was trying too hard and maga was responsible for everything. propaganda, etc.
- i said it's impossible imo to know that.
- your now reply is, look, i know some maga people and they're not bright, and are influenced by maga propaganda so everyone is? or just them and their types (rural, dumb maga types)?

what is it that you are saying regarding the ?s directly above?
no, I’m saying you’re right—-I can’t prove a correlation.

But I’m not insane for believing the nonstop pounding from the right both on the fake pandemic and the microchipped
Vaccine had had a major effect on behavior. And you’re right…I have no way to prove this, other than county by county vaxx numbers coupled with dozens and dozens of direct conversations with those who live in these people.

I short—-I went outside both my and your bubble. And I believe what these good people told me.

No worries, we all do so at times...Yup, it does take a bit for the immune response to kick all the way 'on'. That said, I sure felt awful after my second dose...so sumpthin' was happening.

Not sure why they're emphasizing this for the mandate, though, why not just say gotta be vaccinated by November 24 if that's what you mean? Same difference.

But that other article was pure nonsensical, as if vaccines make you more of a risk than being unvaccinated, which is totally ridiculous and false.

Seriously, this idiocy needs to be stopped.

In thousands of years of recorded human history, no major pandemic has ever been caused by the accidental release of a virus from a laboratory.

None.

That doesn’t mean no viruses have ever escaped a laboratory.

But none have ever caused a pandemic, and certainly nothing like The COVID-19 catastrophe.

That doesn’t mean China is guilt free. Indeed, it is possible that their lax regulation of wild animal markets contributed to the initiation of this pandemic. That’s really where the public health focus should be.

But these nutty conspiracy theories? Conspiracy nuts tend to be ignorant, frightened individuals. For them, a spontaneous mutation in a virus leading to a global pandemic is more frightening than a release of a human-manipulated virus from a laboratory in China. The latter gives more of a sense of control … expose the conspiracy in Wuhan China and maybe we can prevent these pandemics from recurring.

Sorry, the world just doesn’t work that way.

The 1918 flu didn’t originate in Spain. It originated in Haskell County, Kansas. That’s literally in the middle of America. That’s the thing about viruses … they could care less where they are.

Peddlers of conspiracy theories enjoy exploiting the fears of ignoramuses and morons because they can sell books and attract viewers.

There is no evidence this virus originated in a laboratory in Wuhan. If it did, it would be the first time in human history a major pandemic was initiated in that manner.

Just stop with the conspiracy theories. Morons, ignoramuses, and liars have killed enough Americans.
