Clean sweep for the ODAC.
Lynchburg 13 - 8 over Cabrini. The Lynchburg D is strong, LSM is top notch and their goalie play looks good.
Hampden Sydney 11 - 10 over Denison. A bit of an upset here just based on Denison being ranked. Not too many teams play on grass so perhaps Sydney has a bit of an edge being at home.
Roanoke 13 - 12 over Dickinson. Noke has not beat a ranked team in a long time but this could be when they finally get one. They are going to need a big day from their goalie. Dickinson has a big edge at the face off dot. If Noke can be clean with their clears and stay out of the penalty box they have a shot.
W&L 14 - 8 over Washington College. The Generals are flying high right now and don't see a letdown in the cards.

Lynchburg could get over 15 goals
I agree on a close win for HSC
I don’t think Roanoke is winning this one
I think W&L wins this one by double digits

Denison goalie is the difference beat HSC
Dickinson is just too good offensively plus advantage fogo.
W&L hopefully plays a clean relatively mistake free game for the win. Like to see a big day for the young goalie.

I do think W&L is playing fast and have good balanced offense.. they should roll over WAC.
The young SSDMs do look like studs and key to their defense. Lots of talented freshmen on the big 4 rosters. Gonna be fun to watch. Can they keep composure as stakes rise..

Catholic seems way down this year. LYN rolled them hard in scrimmage so not putting too much into that win.
Would love to watch that York game again but W&L removes game game videos from schedule (LYN and NOKE leave them up..) ?

Lynchburg up 8-0 at half

W&L very sloppy 1st qtr down 3-2. Generals Missed wide open net when goalie turned it over. W&L sideline looks dead 6-5 Generals w 4 min to half. WAC tied it but W&L gets a gift making it 7-6. Nice give snd go 8-6 did they ever need it. Not playing smart 6-7 just extremely low IQ plays which is costing them. WAC has hit some pipes, Generals are lucky to be at 8-6. Other than face offs WAC is with them. Generals freshman goalie may need to step up today.
10 man ride goalie out WAC scores, and another. 8-8, smoke in the cockpit. Mannino score for Gennies 9-8 W&L. Joey Allen and Burns need to takeover.
Teams trade goals 10-9 Generals 4 min left in 3rd . 11-9 and they better not let up WAC isn’t going away. Another unforced turnover by the Generals. 11-9 start of the 4th Generals need to step it up, need a goal to start the 4th! Joey Allen comes thru 12-9 Gennies 11 min to go and now Burns follows. 13-9. Both Allen and Burns are go to guys in the 4th. They need to start the O on every possession.
Gennies 2 men down now all even 7 min to go. Need to go deep into the clock on possessions now only taking good looks. WAC scores 13-10 4 min to go Generals possession and score 14 -10. Looks like a W but not a well played game. Have to give WAC credit, they played hard. Not sure what to take away from this game. WAC did play hard the final 15-10 score is not indicative of how close this game was. Anyone there I’d love to know the number of pipes WAC hit. Generals are not beating ranked teams with outings like this.
Going forward you can see this is going to be the “Burns and Allen Show” when it matters. Both Soph’s who will only get better

Good point on W&L thread re: spring break 2nd game could have led to let down. Freshman will benefit from the experience and grow. WAC looked improved which is a good thing for D3 but letting in 10 still has me questioning that D..
Denison away will be a barn burner against Koch. Will tell us a lot.. W&L 12-10 with Hubbard and Burns the difference.

LYN D on the other hand was stifling. They have the athletes and press hard all over the field.
They ran 4 SSDM as Sr. Cole Nestor still out.. #31 Freshman and sr. #25 as converted poles to SSDMs and will only improve. Darminio is all over the field, Zingo and Marindin give up very little, frustrating Cabrini into low angles or 12+ yards shots Hadley easier gobbled up for 20 saves..He is looking very good.
FO at Cabrini was very good. LYN only won 7 of 24 (actually 3 of 16 since each jumped 4x).
LYN freshman Attack #27 is very good but had another game missing / dropping wide open look passes. This is a very balanced offense.
2nd line mids. Freshman, Soph and Sr. and FO seem to weakness. Salisbury comes to Shellenburger where LYN is tough (except when W&L come over the hill…have to win the GB battle..
Thinking there may be a chemistry issue @ Sal. Can Coach Berkman bring back ball movement.. LYN sends the Gulls home with back to back losses 13
