I'm playin' with house money so I'm in.
BC 16-UNC 13.
Seacoaster owes me two beers, so I’m up this season, too. Can’t go all Pete Rose and bet against my own team, however. Waiting for the finals so I can bet the two barley pops to win over Cuse. You in?

Two beers to CO, and some window cleaner from the Dollar Store for DMac. But I take the favorite here.

Don't know how UNC is going to play her, if they don't face guard her I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she puts in more than five. You just have to play that girl tight, she's just too dangerous to not. I'll stick with my five though (was going to say und das ist auf der lichten Seite with my call but figured that was a little much).

I'll take the under. She gets 4 and 1 with the defense doubling early but no faceguard.

I know for sure that UNC will be focused on her. The question is, with that heavy focus, how many will she get? Might be under. Uh-oh...

Don't hold your breath. UNC handily...
I don't think it will be either. Just hoping for a good game. It's good for the sport. A lot of people tuned in to that 2019 semi final that weren't regular watchers and social media accounts that normally covered mens lax only were posting about the game as well.

Car Washed and Gassed Up - Check
Cooler Filled with adult beverages - Check
Tickets Printed Out - Check

If the game is anything like the 2019 Semi-Final we are all in for a treat and a heartstopping ride!

Let's go Heels!

Looks to me as if the forecast has much improved, mid 70s with only a 10-20% chance of rain. Pretty sure earlier forecasts had a much greater chance of rain and lower temps....pretty much perfect for lacrosse now.
Not being an asz here, don't forget to put the necessary proof of vaccination, or whatever it is you need along those lines, in your to go package too. Put a "check" next to that one today. Entering the high anxiety zone, might want to put a check next to a bag of Gummy Bears too.
Have fun, nothing better than the NC week-end environment.

That's because it was such a good game, a legit upset. UNC handily...

Here's the thing.

UNC has the defense to try to play some kind of novelty strategy against North.

On the other hand, BC does not have a player on its roster that caused more than 13 turnovers for the season. That spells trouble. Big trouble. I think you're going to see Walter Mitty-esque performances from Sconone, Wurzburger, or Hillman. Sconone is a fine player with a North-esque forehand from the 8-meter.

Excellent point. I would keep an eye on Growney. She likes to rip from the 8’ if she can get her hands free ... and I am not sure the BC defense has enough depth to handle of the UNC threats. Growney is streaky and has been struggling a bit lately vs. her early season performance. She came up big for unc in 2019 and she is due.
