This doesn't surprise me, especially with the recent Centennial conference announcement. Centennial Conference Coaches who were interested in playing out of conference games are now being forced to reschedule or cancel those previously scheduled games. This is mainly due to the recent announcement of the conference moving forward and the creation of their conference schedules. I am hoping the Gulls can retain (WAC) and/or add (Gburg) as conference schedules start to formulate.

Will be interesting to see how Lynchburg plays on Sunday, following a Saturday match up the Gulls.

Agreed. Will they be sleepy after the adrenaline high wears off after the huge win today? Or does it make them hungrier and they put a beat down on the Hawks? The LSN coverage stunk, bad camera angles, stuttering feed. Hope that gets sorted out.

CNU taking it to Washington College. 6-1 scoring is spread out by the Captains. Finally the Captains are winning some face offs.

Zach Sands from Robinson lax in NoVa winning those face offs. Way to go Zach!!!

CNU v Lynchburg should be a really good game. CNU gets them at home and then a second bout the following weekend at Lynchburg. Two really good defensive units. Should be fun to watch

You called it, it was a great game! I was on the edge of my seat the whole game!

CNU beating Lynchburg is getting me very excited for the upcoming CNU/Salisbury games. I wouldn’t be surprised if a York/Salisbury like rivalry begins to form between the two teams over the next few years

Just checked the stats on SMCM SVU game. SMCM is struggling. I’ve watched a few games and they seem far too predictable. With very short O bench and an MO to play slow b/c of poor 3v3 faceoff schemes, their possession are handcuffing them. They really need to re-engineer how the approach the 3v3 aspect.

Hawks need to play all 4th quarters. Takes a minute to click and turn on, then they look pretty darn good. Game vs Howard CC cancelled for visitors having a COVID issue. On a positive note, SMCM now allowing 150 students at games. Step toward parental units I hope!

Are only top 4 teams moving on to C2C conference tournament? If so this UMW/SMCM game is a big game for the standings

My understanding is that the #4 and #5 seed will play on May 3rd to determine who advances. May 5th will be the conference semis with the Championship game on May 8th.

Another scrubbed match as MW has the issue this time. They say “postponed”, so hopefully that means a reschedule in the near future.

The SMCM v UMW game makes no sense to reschedule. The two teams will play the 4v5 game anyway for the final spot in the C2C tournament anyways. Why play 3x in one season?

After getting screwed last year, these kids deserve every game they can get.

Did anybody watch the Colorado College 12 - CNU 11 game today? I was finishing my Poll when I did a last check and noticed the score. Playing the Gulls Saturday must have drained CNU. Not like Coach Thompson to look past an opponent. Any predictions on the Gull/CNU rematch April 14?

The game is at CNU on a Wednesday night. I'm thinking Gulls but by a much closer margin of victory. Maybe even a tight one.
