So true. Never had that problem growing up. Conversations were had face to face. People were less likely to be out of line and much less inappropriate to a degree back then as well.DMac wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 5:10 pmWould make sense but not this time.Relax77 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 4:02 pmFunny how written words can be taken. I now know the scoop from a dependable and reliable source and must say I could not be more disappointed and disgusted with Kayla. The damage you and your assistant have done to Cuse wlax is immeasurable and will be felt for many years to come. The two of you need to go find a dark little corner to hide in and hang your heads in shame. Can't even express how thoroughly disgusted and disappointed I am in you.
No, I won't lay out the details but I can't imagine it being too long before they're out. NFW the KTrainwreck is the Cuse HC next year and doesn't deserve to be.
Funny indeed how written words can

Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
She had an affair with her assistant coach. She married her husband in December but started the secret relationship with her new assistant in October. She went through with her marriage and got caught by her husband with her assistant at Final Four. KT is going to get fired because she violated Syracuse policy of having a workplace relationship with her subordinate
Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
if these are all supposed to be fact based, you forgot to mention why cuse told you she was going to be fired but neglected to tell treanor.LaxEveryDay wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:05 pm She had an affair with her assistant coach. Kayla was handed the Golden Egg and threw it against the wall and shattered it all to hell.
Geezuz H, unbelievable. Ya just had to not phukk it up and you did.

Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
Really hard to imagine in a world of complete moral decay that the University would terminate her for that.
Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
For me the only issue here is the relationship with a direct report. The affair, the husband etc.. are all personal life choices that shouldn't matter for your employment.
The relationship with a direct report is a real problem though, imagine your the other assistant without the relationship and it's raise time. I wonder which of the 2 assistant's are going to get the larger raise

I don't know about shouldn't matter as it speaks volumes about one's character, values, trustworthiness, loyalty, integrity, and more. This employer is putting her in a position to mentor young girls, I don't want a person with the flawed values she's exhibited mentoring my daughter. Yes, it does matter in this case, maybe not so much if she were a car salesman. I have no patience or tolerance for cheaters/infidelity (however rampant it might be).WLaxdad wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 9:40 am For me the only issue here is the relationship with a direct report. Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
I know we are constantly sucked into a world where every discussion and answer to each question has to be binary. A or B. Yes or No. Left or Right. But there is some nuance here.
1. Did KT violate university employee conduct policy?
2. Did KT violate ethical standards according to reasonable observers?
3. Will Syracuse fire her?
4. Should Syracuse fire her?
5. (A) If her assistant was at the time, and currently is, a consenting adult who made the choice to enter the relationship on her own free will, is their relationship really that wrong? (besides the obvious of being a violation of university conduct policy). (B) If KT was a man, and the assistant coach was a female, this would certainly fall squarely into the #metoo movement and dynamic. Given they are both women, does that change anything here?
6. (A) Is what KT did worse than Calipari paying players through boosters for years? (B) Is it worse than Gary Williams hitting up the local college bars in College Parks and hitting on girls? (C) It is worse than Hugh Freez using his university phone to contact escort services...only to be hired at Auburn 4 years later?
In my humble opinion.
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. No.
4. Yes.
5. (A) Reasonable people could debate this. (B) Yes.
6. (A) No. (B) No. (C) No.

Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
I'm not sure this analysis will help sell parents on the program.
Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
At this point does it really matter. She made a bad decision and I'm glad Syracuse is not firing her. She is one of the most liked and humble superstars in the history of womens lacrosse. Public humiliation is a strong enough sentence in my opinion. I suggest we all move on and stop feeding this thread.
Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
+1. Thank you for your post. Please everyone move on. And thank you to NJ Bill for your wisdom and seacoaster for your grace during a difficult time.

Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
I’m biased but I agree. She’s not a bad person she just made a bad mistake. She’ll learn a hard lesson from this, but it has nothing to do with her ability to go on and be a tremendous coach. If Cuse lets her go it’ll be another program’s gainLax101 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 9:45 pm At this point does it really matter. She made a bad decision and I'm glad Syracuse is not firing her. Re: Kayla Treanor. Is this true?
My only thought around keeping her is do you keep the coach that she had the alleged affair with too? If you keep her, how do the other coaches respond? The head coach and her “secret partner” have a stronger bond than anyone else on the staff. I would guess that if KT keeps her job, at least one assistant leaves…

Ya just knew this had to come up. No, that changes nothing about the deceit and all that goes along with secret (they're only secret because you know it's wrong) little affairs. Bring her home and have a threesome, I'm good with that.

I think KT has done immeasurable damage to Cuse wlax (see transfers and decommits).
Am a big KT fan but could not be more disappointed and disgusted with the dark cloud she's hung over Cuse wlax and the position she's put everybody around her in.
