That was a ‘23. I wonder if the ‘23’s are tired of waiting for maybe a ‘24 took their spot before they even get to start.

I’m assuming most kids want to graduate college and play lax for the four years. Many of these kids in USF would be 5/6 year college students if they stay and play. Chep is gonna be like 30 when she graduates. ( Relax. It’s a joke.)

Only getting a 6th year if injury is involved (and approved). Covid years are finally done thankfully.

I’m intrigued with where goalies Cuocco and Torres could end up. Both have proven track records and some higher ranked schools just graduated goalies

Torres and her sister are a package deal.

Xavier with 11 and Va Tech with 8 seeming to lead the pack. ODU with 7. Not shocking considering the talk about those coaches on these boards.

But wow to lose that many players at once?! That seems like more than usual from individual teams. Does anyone know around what percent of players in the portal get picked up by other schools by the end of the process?

Scouted her in high school. Tremendous player.

What does the do not contact category mean?

It means that the player is the one who will be initiating contact with programs and not vice-versa. Generally means a player has a few destinations in mind and is deciding between those schools. At least that's what I have been told.

Yes, she did red shirt. I was unclear. What I tried to convey was that I suspect she has now (academically) graduated from Syracuse. She has one more year of wlax eligibility, her red shirt year, which she may be using to go to a grad school that has the type of grad program she is interested in. Or maybe she is pursuing a different lacrosse opportunity. Don’t know.
