Kudos to that look at wellners success right now. They wouldn’t even give welner an interview last time

Yep….even had current players advocating on his behalf.

Would John Tillman consider returning to Navy? He loves Navy and Annapolis. And the truth is, he doesn't really have anything else to accomplish at Maryland.

Yes. But why not try again? This time around, he has nothing else to accomplish. Last time, he had one title. This time, he has two, including one with an undefeated season. In addition, he is a few years older now. If he definitely wants to have a run as Navy’s coach, maybe now would be the time to jump on it. If he doesn’t he could be well into his 60s the next time it opens.

One thing to remember is that, while Navy loses a lot of seniors, next year, a lot more of the regular players will be ones that Amplo recruited for his system. That said, due to that, might the Mids surprise?

Please tell us who is going to surprise? Army getting better recruits. Next year 2 Plunketts will be a hand full

That doesn't mean Navy can't surprise, though.

Thanks.

Starts around the 10:25 mark.

~ 17:10 - Our offense was outdated, so much so Cottle had to take plays from Laf and Denver. (We've been saying this for 10 years now, nice to hear him confirm it)

Navy has average between 10 -11 goals the last 5 years(including this spring 10.88)..not sure how much impact the changes were?

Phipps was running outdated plays?!?!

That’s coming from a guy who has been out of coaching for awhile. Hmmm.

Ross wasn’t outdated either. He may be talking about set plays on EMO. Where we seemed to have more of them this year opposed to just flowing out of a set.

That's what Ty Xanders is reporting. Was he injured this year or did he leave USNA at some point? No stats for him in spring 2024, so far as I can tell, although he was referenced in a fallball 2023 Inside Lacrosse "all access" article.

Hernandez has left USNA with his love of the Navy Marine Corps USNA Amplo and the Team fully intact. He absolutely loved playing for Joe and loved his team mates.

He was physically fit and was not dealing with any honor issues this past season while he worked with the scout team ,

It is what it is

On a side note where ever he does end up going to school he will never be taking calc
