Makes me recall the great 2014 / 2015 match ups. Landis v Thompson - (and Landis 'won' that matchup) was one for the ages.
This one wont' be close.

Steve O’Hara covered Lyle in ‘14. Like you alluded to, kind of wild that Landis is thought to have gotten the better of Lyle in ‘15 and he still went 1,3. Granted the 3rd assist was in garbage time, but just speaks to how good lyle really was.

Interesting to compare thoughts on the '15. Didn't mean to imply Landis had him on '14. While 1 and 3 isn't nothing, given how much the ball went through him, especially in latter part of game, i honestly thought Landis won that matchup. Two great players, was super fun to watch that matchup.

Yup. Was at the game also. Crowd was electric. Felt bad for the Thompson Trio... they looked like had it, until they didn't.

Danes couldn’t handle a ten man ride and though it probably doesn’t make a difference, Scott Marr didn’t take a time out in the midst of a 6-1 ND run.
