Dear Lord, did Stanford just have two major knee injuries in a row?

I certainly hope not and am not asking people to speculate on a players status.

The amount of excuse making for UNC going on is hilarious. I get they have a ton of injuries but it seems like they are setting up an easy blame game for the loss if it happens.

What’s the point of having top recruiting classes if you don’t have any depth.

Been saying it all year they - UNC have a real problem in goal
Gotta score a lot of goals to make up for that …

Stella Harrison has been the best goalie imo, but never starts and barely plays until we are already down…

There is excuses because of the fact we have so much injuries which stops our depth.

We lost 8 starters…

3 of our best attacking recruits from this year out for the season

Ashley Humphrey, one of the best feeders in the country out

Brooklyn Walker Welch, one of the best defenders in the country out.

Kaleigh Harden, Sophie Student are major losses for our midfield.

Our leading scorer from last year Marissa White missing the full season.

8 fantastic players token from our lineup… Who else do you think comes off the bench to score because none of the other players have played

Unc just looks like they have no spark, no leadership
Other than long and maybe AH before

Every defender gets beat. Nalls is a great all around defender, but she’s nowhere near Emma trenchard or even Walker Welch in terms of pure man 2 man stopper. Doesn’t mean she’s not a starter anywhere!!

If this coaching staff doesn’t take Nicholas out.. I’m sorry but we are trying to win a game and it’s just Florida scoring again and again

We need better defensive play for the second half, can’t even think abt next year without Nalls and Hall. I think Zenk can get that starting spot if she lives up to the hype, Nelson needs to improve before she gets a starting spot

Brutal end of game situation for Stanford Denver. The running clock rule that late in the game is a joke. Incentivizes the defense to foul just to burn time. Bummer for Stanford.

Round 2 Matches/Predictions:

BC v. Princeton -- BC

Notre Dame v. Michigan -- Pick the "upset," Michigan

Maryland v. JMU -- tough call here; Maryland, playing at home but not impressive late in the season. Hmmm, JMU by one.

Penn v. Loyola -- another tough call here; going with Loyola redemption for regular season loss

Denver v. Northwestern -- Northwestern

SBU v. Syracuse -- worried about this, graduation day, distractions, but picking Syracuse

Hopkins v. Yale -- Hopkins grinds out the win.

Florida/UNC v. UVA -- I am assuming Florida wins the UNC game, going on now; if so, I'd make Florida is a slight favorite here.

Well the wheels are off for UNC. I concede defeat. Wow. Embarrassing showing for the Tar Heels

Maryland- Blowout already
Yale- Not as much of a blowout as one would think. Tight early and Yale runs away
Notre Dame- Blowout in progress. Looking at common opponents, this is an easy game for the Irish
Stony Brook- Blowout
JMU- possibly the best game of the day
Virginia-blowut
Denver- Trusting the defense on this one, I am ready to be wrong on this one
Drexel- I don't know if Princeton is actually good or not, they will exposed at somepoint
Loyola Maryland- This one might be a tough result for the Blue Devils. Hounds have a big time advantage in goal and at the draw
Michigan- Big
Johns Hopkins- This result and the duke result will raise questions about the selection process if it goes the way I think it will
Florida- Hotter team at this time
Pennsylvania- closer than you will expect
You all will eat your words when Carolina beats gators by 3/4
And yea Penn- still thinking Penn will beat JMU
Hope you didn’t bet any rent money. JMU squeaks by Penn State, Florida is destroying UNC.

I will never forget the look on Caitlyn Wurzburger's face when she scored the last goal of the game.
