Pro-League FULL TIME

Yesterday in Bloombergs it was announced that a new pro lacrosse league was being formed with leadership from Paul Rabil. Financial backup from Raines (sp) Season won't conflict with NCAA or NLL (indoor) Very interesting news. Sounds to be a similar format to the LXM, with traveling games. Now, if the could coordinate their games with those "awesome" elite club tournaments, except johnny profile is too cool to watch PRO lax players. Or something like that. The pee wee kids will love it.

Something smells. Either the Pres of MLL is a complete d-bag ego maniac and refuses to budge or possibly PR is equally as bad and wants the name recognition/cash opportunity. There are already hundreds of great players in the MLL busting their butts, sacrificing for the greater good of the game. Sure the MLL model needs modifying, so friggen work together. This reminds me of the petulant dad who's kid does not make a certain club team then runs off to start his own and before you know it the talent is dissolved between the two clubs, the players lose friendships, and there is an err in the air about it all.

Why not just start his own team in the MLL, pay them as planned with the PLL model and beat everyone....proving your model works?

The MLL, headquartered in Boston, MA. You would be hard pressed to find ONE Boston sports reporter that could name the Boston Cannons in the following question:

"Name all the Boston teams that have won championships in the past ten years. "

Heck, even the often useless wikipedia has no mention of the Cannons as even existing as a sports team, let alone champion.

zactly.... the MLL has problems, to include marketing, PR concentrated in entrepreneurship and management, so this aligns with this educational path...do they offer degrees in common sense? I still believe this is an attempt to capitalize on the other 6 continents, as I noted in the 2019 D1 thread.
