I think Amherst @ Middlebury is Game of the Week.
This game has been later in the season for the last few years.
So it'll be interesting to see them faceoff early.
Midd is used to the opener being a big game, with the last several against Bowdoin.
Going with them at home in a close one

Salisbury over Lynchburg.
Lynchburg's F/O guy is going to have to win the matchup & get them as many possessions as possible.
A fast start for Lynchburg is the key to them being in position to win the game.\

RIT over York.
This will be respectable, but not sure if it will be close.
Curious how many goals this RIT Offense can put up when their guys are playing a full 60, as opposed to winning the game by half.

I might have egg on my face, but I like Lynchburg's chances. Gulls have been reportedly playing a bit of early season hero ball.

RIT seems too skilled for York right now. Tough match-up.

I'd bump the Roanoke/Dickinson game to the first list...I don't think that will be close at all. Other than that, fully agree!

The loss to Gettysburg changes how I see Lynchburg at this stage of the season. They're talented for sure, but I just don't see them competing with Salisbury right now. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though!

RIT might just be a wagon this year. This will be a big test to show us if that's true!

Amherst V Middlebury is probably my game of the week as this should be very close. Middlebury bring back a ton while Amherst lost some.

Lynchburg could keep this close but I am not sure they have enough to top a very talented Salisbury team.

I am not sure how I feel about RIT. Did they dominate 2 really good teams or did they simply beat two average teams that get the benefit of playing in the MIdwest. This game last year was a 1 goal game but I appears like RIT has brought in a talented fogo to counter York's an they have moved to a different goalie, while they keep their crazy good offense. I have this as more of a coin toss. York only loss was to a very talented RPI team

I would say W&L over Dension but a good amount 4-5. I am not sure that Denison is that good.
Dickinson over Roanoke - the idea that Dickinson has had some early challenges will help them in this game but Roanoke brings back a lot of talent and could pull the upset.
St. Lawrence over SJF
RPI is too good for Muhlenberg
St Marys over HSC
Gettysburg's youth over Stevenson's experience

Interesting take on Lynchburg/Gulls. I feel like Gulls always get a bit of early season criticism for the hero ball tendencies, but it never seems to hurt them in the end. Not disagreeing, just feel like I have heard this narrative before, and then they prove everybody wrong.

Save that Natty against RIT, I totally agree man. I'm not involved with Salisbury at all. I used to think it was intentional by Berkman, maybe to prepare them for those gotta have a goal May moments. IDK. On paper I see the Gulls giving the Bugs the business, especially at home. But I just like their collective game, LC I mean. Spin the ball. Grind it out when it's on the ground. Great keeper. Repeat of the 2003 regular season maybe.

no doubt that salisbury, RIT, and Dickinson should be favored in these games by 5 plus. but i think all three have a good chance to be upset

2023 results
salisbury over Lynchburg by one goal
RIT over YORK by one goal
Dickinson over Roanoke by one goal

i expect three close games with at least one upset.
