Since this looks like a catch-all,

2025s will be able to commit in a few more days,
here’s one recently graded out by IL who I’d expect to commit early on,

On those early lists they frequently miss on Canadians who don’t play in the US, at Culver, Lawrenceville, Western Reserve et al - Collison in 2022, Willem Firth this year.

Dylan Sanderson is someone I’d expect the top schools are aware of, who played very well toward the end of Hill Academy’s last season - I’d expect he’ll get a 2025 commit early on,

Perks of being the leading goal scorer on the best club team "ever" according to their youtube video. Oh, and Nepotism.

I saw Team91 MD 2025's warm up this year and they were legitimately practicing plays (in summer ball, yuck). Weirdly enough, they always seemed to set up Millon.

A less tough Spallina, and more immobile.

I appreciate a production concept even when there is clearly not much budget.

The calendar is aligned for a hectic opening. With contact beginning on the Thurs/Fri heading into a long weekend I bet plenty of top prospects will try to see their top 2-3 schools - and staffs of major programs will try meet/host many tier 1 recruits - in the first 100 hours of the recruiting window. People will be exhausted by Monday night. Week 1 wasn't a firehose of commitments last year, and I doubt it will be this year, but much of the groundwork for decisions over the next few weeks will happen over the next few days.

'06 Bday which is 2024 age (granted its an august bday) and this guy said 2024 middie. Figured he reclassed since he committed first day possible.

Either way, big fan of his game. Thanks for clarifying!

Looks like the recruiting gurus went to 1 tournament in the mid-atlantic and called it a season. I can guarantee that by the time this class hits the field in college there will be plenty of kids from Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington or other areas who are better than those on this list.

Was there only 1 signing yesterday? If so that’s the lightest September 1st since they instituted the change in underclassmen recruiting.

My thinking on California kids,
they are catching up, but they were really locked down, more than just about anyone else in 2020-2021.
This year you’ve got Cole Kastner and Ben Ramsey, all americans who were on the higher end of rater’s lists - have outperformed especially Kastner.
For 2025, who knows, I look more at Florida particularly with IMG situated there.
Dewey Egan is a California kid who could make a mark.
But you’ve gotten among the best you’re going to get out of California in Kastner, Will Mark and recently Anthony DeMaio.

Wow! Talk about a loaded class Malvern Prep(PA) has! I sure hope that nearby, fellow Catholic institution, Villanova(run by the same religious order) can get at least one of them!

Not really an issue. Last year there were a ton of 4- and 5-stars from the west and midwest because Mad Dog (Browne, Hicks, Hokanson, Macaluso, Mahoney, Manley, Magoto) and West Coast Starz (Cook, Dykes, Bambrick, Malkiel, Wynn, Maznik, etc.) had really strong classes.

IL quietly added another round of 4-stars to its database and already Stu Gates (CA) and Kimo Kouletsis (TX) are on there to go along with Matt McKane (CA) already in the top 50.

Then there's a kid like Matt Higgins (ranked #16) who's originally from CA but moved to MD to go to Boys Latin. There are others like him, e.g. Liam White from Illinois last year. Lot of talented kids from non-hotbeds are moving east to play at BL, Lville, Western Reserve, etc. And then obviously much of the Culver roster is from the midwest, California, or Canada and those kids are always ranked highly.

So it doesn't seem like they're under-ranking kids from outside the mid-atlantic at all. A few kids per class always slip through the crackcs but it's not some huge pervasive problem. They've got writeups from a number of events west of the Mississippi including several of the Adrenaline ones.

and if uva didn't offer kastner, he may be playing basketball.
and mark had to pg himself (i believe unprompted), or at least go east... and landed @ stony with presumably not a bigger offer.
