I have seen several games at Roanoke and can attest that the setup there is indeed impressive.

Denison's new field will not abut the Mitchell Center, so it will not have that same feel. But again, I'm confident the new soccer/lacrosse only stadium will be impressive in its own right and be just another in a long list of recruiting pluses afforded these 4 Big Red coaching staffs as they hit the recruiting trail. Without doubt, Denison is a great place to be D3 student athlete.

Denison University in general and Denison Athletics specifically, is in a very good place currently (in stark contrast to many institutions post Covid) winning it's 3rd straight (league leading 19th overall) NCAC Collins All Sports Awards and winning 34th place overall nationaly (the highest ranking NCAC school) in the Learfield Director's Cup!

Essentially, Denison lacrosse is moving back to its origins, the same place on campus where it played in the 1970s, 1980s and I believe up through about 2004 (maybe also as far back as the 1950s, but I'm not sure). However, this time around the facility will be much nicer for lacrosse (although for soccer, I would view the change to synthetic turf as a negative). https://denison.edu/news-events/featured/146191
It is a gorgeous site on a gorgeous campus, and I think I might be able to catch a game there next spring.
