I think Maryland just got a huge gift to tie it up 11-11
Re: Live Game Action
Terps just cannot play a complete game from start to finish.

Each coach should get 1 scoring goal replay….wlaxphan20 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 7:14 pm

Terps 3 games in 7 days and playing tired. Lucky to be undefeated in conference. Sterling with like zero saves.
Re: Live Game Action
Northwestern might running clock Maryland in the first half. Not sure what happened with all of the talent they have there.
Re: Live Game Action
I've seen enough, time to drop them from the top 20...or at least behind Davidson and MarquetteEssexfenwick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 7:36 pm Terps 3 games in 7 days and playing tired. Lucky to be undefeated in conference. Sterling with like zero saves.

Re: Live Game Action
Double pipe and tough yellow on Hopkins late helped the Terps escape. Nice effort by the Blue Jays.
Heard there was a blood bath at St Joes-- Hawks upset Princeton but limped out of there with multiple injuries.

There are bad yellow cards and there are really bad ones . That was tough on hop girls and a no-doubterGratefulRed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:02 pm

Re: Live Game Action
Didn't realize MD was without Clevenger (their leading scorer) in this one due to a family emergency. Then Leubecker got banged up but returned. Thomas did do well in Clevenger's place and has had a good year after not playing the last two years. However, we've seen this story before with the Terps this year. They can't keep their foot on the gas for a whole 60 minutes.Essexfenwick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 7:36 pm Terps 3 games in 7 days and playing tired. Lucky to be undefeated in conference. Re: Live Game Action
St Jo’s limped out with a win is an understatement. There would have been 20 minutes of Penalties in a men’s game.GratefulRed wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:02 pm

Re: Live Game Action
NCAA approved instant replay this year for women's lacrosse. Checking to see if the whole ball crossed the goal line is one of the reviewable plays. Anyone have any idea why that play wasn't reviewed? It clearly wasn't a goal. It was a huge play. Hop was up 11-10. Would have been Hop ball up a goal. Instead it's tied and MD scores 2 more after.wlaxphan20 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:04 pmThat’s what I saw tooBrownlax wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:10 pmNo goal - ball hit double pipeswlaxphan20 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 7:14 pm

That’s insane that they had opportunity to review and did not .hmmm wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:41 pmNCAA approved instant replay this year for women's lacrosse. Re: Live Game Action
Per your link:
"Video reviews will be allowed in the following scenarios:
To determine whether the whole ball crossed the goal line. This review would be at the request and discretion of the head official, head coach or any player on the field of play at the time of the shot."
How good (i.e., how conclusive) was the video replay?
Was there no request? Didn't see the game, but from the description, it's hard to believe someone with JHU wouldn't have made a request.
Does this somewhat poorly worded rule mean that if a head coach or player makes a request, the head official has the discretion not to review the play? Is that what happened here?
