Coaching Carousal
Any D2 programs looking for new leadership? Mars Hill seem to take a nose dive the last part of the season? Curious if there are other programs who will be looking?

vburke6 - congrats on your first post on the sight. Also, thanks for educating us on Tom Kirn. To have unmatched lacrosse knowledge at the conclusion of a GA-ship is impressive indeed!
It's either a thoughtful comment or smartass sarcasm. Learn to recognize the difference.

Whoever takes this position is in for a huge project. Coach Klank was a good dude and his players loved him! He got fed up and burnt out over the lack of support and resources the schools provides lacrosse. (AD is mens basketball HC fully funded) I’ve been told more then half the roster is in the portal including some key pieces. With the situation being like this I’d think they’d want to go for someone that has experience and can recruit their balls off with Caldwell being such a hard sell

Thanks for joining the forums Mrs Kirn, your son sounds very impressive, why not just go for the Rutgers job with his experience.vburk6 wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 5:51 pm
I could see Tim Kirn taking this job, the Jersey native just finished his graduate assistant job at Georgian Court University (very close to Caldwell) where he was the defensive coordinator. I heard the players loved him and his lacrosse knowledge is unmatched. He played at Montclair State so he has experience of playing high level lacrosse. He’s a young kid if he has aspirations of coaching D1 lacrosse, I think this would be a GREAT place to start for him.

Not to mention they play on a field that is 2.6 miles away from campus. Don’t know about facilities and all but it doesn’t seem great.StuckinD2 wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:46 amWhoever takes this position is in for a huge project. Does it bother anyone else that the title of this thread is misspelled?
