Interesting I passed this along to a friend and former colleague who has a small athletic related VC fund with some small time pros. For what it’s worth, don’t know if this is competing to you but he told me Christian Ponder is working on a “knockoff social housing for athletes. Not sure what a “social house” is but sounded similar so passing it along.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Hey Brownlax,
I just logged on to the channel on youtube and watched the terrific interview with famed rower Dan Lyons. It is well worth watching. Like he said rowing was at one time the working man's sport. Like him, I loved the book The Boys In the Boat*. He has a very interesting history who ends the chat by saying "you are a champion". Great words, indeed.
