Well, you need a much more nuanced and scientific understanding of how to address public health issues like a virulent strain of virus that is thought to be airborne in its transmission and is challenging to even the best minds in biology, medicine and public health. I found it interesting, when finally finding the actual poll "data', that Obama did "better" in the first debate against Romney. According to the CNN poll. Not what most recall. Even Obama himself thought he was lousy in that first debate. And yet, the CNN poll .......

Also, the numbers are very close to Hillaryous Clinton and Don tRumps first debate....so there's that.

Joe reminds me of the parent that teenagers love...., they'll let you do almost anything you want, stay out all night, drink in the house...essentially just want to be your friend, not a parent. Trump, on the other hand, is the opposite....you will have a curfew, you ain't staying out all night, you aint drinking in the house and you can't wait to get away from him, but are glad he was around as you were growing up.

it's a strategy. if those come. i suspect if my friends at ihme are correct, we'll see lockdowns everywhere well before jan 20 and this debate won't matter. germany is expected to have daily cases rise to about 70-75 thousand per day in december, their death toll nearly triple by year end and who knows what for mortality in jan-feb.

Joe wasn’t as strong as I had hoped he would be, but Trump was a -10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Trump came in way too hot and never really backed off. Way way too hot. Maybe it appealed to his base, but it appalled voters in the middle.

Joe didn’t do as good a job as I expected he would in fending off all of Trump’s BS.

Trump acted as though he was at a Trump rally, not in a national debate before the American people.

Axe says Trump may have ended his presidency tonight.

Republican talking heads are not happy with Trump’s performance.

Agree with all this. If the debate was for anyone in the middle, they saw that the President is a borderless 12 year old.
