Anton Khudobin accepting the Dallas team medal as they move into the Stanley Cup Final may be the best all time locker room speech ever. Obviously a man of few words. MVP of the playoffs so far imo.

Great stuff DDT. Khodobin has been outstanding and very entertaining to watch, as have the Stars. Not much methodical hockey from them.

Looking forward to the game tonight. Hoping the Isles can keep it going after their latest big win. They burst the Lightning OT bubble even though they were on their heels quite a bit. Go Isles!

Isles had a great season. Not the most talented team but they are well coached and never quit. They are getting there. It was a great playoff run.

Rooting for Dallas the rest of the way....

Agreed and rooting for Dallas as well. They'll have to be on top of their game tho, TB is very good, and Hedman is basically Superman on skates.

This bubble hockey has been super enjoyable. I do wish Milbury didn't get run out of the booth however. I like his deadpan humor.

The bubble definitely has been great. Loved how they brought the Cup out to sit over the arena for game one. .... and Milbury was right. Laser focused. No distractions in the bubble.

Game 3 Tampa Bay Lightning @ Dallas Stars - Sept. 23, 2020

Stamkos returns to TBL and serves as an inspiration to his mates. Some fierce hitting from both sides.

Might be the first time that nobody boo'ed Bettman as he presented the trophies. A sign of a truly weird year.

Awesome job by the entire NHL, the facilities and staff, and the broadcast organizations. Nothing better than the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Indeed. Kudos for another fine seasonal end to NHL.

Meanwhile, the 'esteemed' Ivy League has deferred to 1/1/21 for winter sports to possibly begin. Believe it when I see it...

Big Ten hockey double dip on a Monday night, yeah baby!

Golden Gophers make it 3 for 3 with a nice 4-1 win over The OSU Buckeyes. Now 3-0 on the season. Rematch is trow.

Happy 100th Birthday to the UM Pucksters!

Watched the game last night in an online channel. Great puck control and distribution by the Gophs. But, as usual, they lacked the type of physicality that is so necessary for success in the playoffs. Coach Bob Motzko was voted Coach of the Year for his great work at St Cloud State turning it from a mediocre team into a Championship team. He has also coached the USA team in the IIHF World Juniors series. Now with the Gophs he has promised a return to the good old days of a UM National Championship.

Gophs have 4 games scheduled within a one week timeframe. I wonder if this isn't too much and hope it does not strain the players to the point where it leads to injury.

Good to have college hockey back. Hopefully, the season will turn out real well for all.

ECAC says show must go on. I applaud these schools (Clarkson, Colgate, Quinnipiac and St. Lawrence) for laying out a path for their student athletes to compete. Lead the way!

Minnesota sweeps thru Michigan and Mich State, now sitting at an impressive 8-0. I'd expect them to get some first place votes in the next poll.
