Re: Cornell 2024
The best part of this conversation is that #8 from UNC has both parents that are Cornell alums and athletes. So maybe this is the right place for this discussion.

Re: Cornell 2024
Teat is also basically one handed. Much easier to shut someone off who can only break one way to catch the ball or get open. CJ is much more two handed. We will see I suppose.

Re: Predict The Next Major Universities To Get DI Lax Programs
Just for general knowledge, there are 77 Div 1 Men's programs and 129 Women's D 1 programs. As far as HS participation, in 2018 there were 186k boys participating and 146k girls.

Re: Predict The Next Major Universities To Get DI Lax Programs
This is really a problem for the sport. There are so many good youth lacrosse players with no where to go on the college level. At some point , parents will balk at the cost and commitment of club lacrosse etc if it doesn't yield any results. There already is barely any money in this sport from scho...

I think it is a mistake to call this Covid shot a vaccine. It is more like a flu shot. We call it the Flu shot not the Flu vaccine. A vaccine means you virtually never it get it. The measles and polio vaccines are vaccines. The Covid shot does not prevent you from getting Covid. In fact I personally...

Re: New Jersey Lacrosse 2021
I agree having 6 State Champions is a little confusing and dilutes the title a bit. On the other hand, the private schools have taken things so far out of hand that it really isn't a level playing field. It does show how much of an accomplishment it is when a Mountain Lakes, Ridgewood, or Summit or ...

Re: New Jersey Lacrosse 2021
What is the rationale behind getting rid of the TOC? Is the reclassing at private schools getting so out of hand that public schools don't even want to play private schools anymore? NJSIAA is dominated by Public School interests I would imagine. I am not sure what I think of this to be honest. Priva...

Re: Ivy League 2021
If the not playing decision was about science it's a short term issue where your administrators were overly cautious. If it was about politics and a changing approach to how your schools are run you have deeper long term issues that could result in more athletics cuts. I've heard discussions that s...

Re: Ivy League 2021
Kid's are honest. I wonder what they will say when they are hosting a recruit. " Where else you looking at? If I had to do it over again, I would go ....". juniors, Seniors don't have and incentive to tell anything besides the truth. Ask in 40 years. The recruits will have to make a decis...
