I would think that the Majority of Ivy and Patriot seniors would already have jobs lined up.
I"m pretty sure that the Military Academy cadets and Naval Academy Midshipmen are all going to be gainfully employed.

Re: Navy 2020

A non-lacrosse USNA question: a family friend's son is in the Navy Athletics hall of fame. They'll be in the Annapolis area and were wondering if it's worth a short foray, since they will be in town, to visit the Hall of Fame. They are easygoing people who like sports and they won't be expecting an...

Re: New rules for international game

It is sad to see that the FIL is selling out the game, just to get into the Olympics. The IOC is one of the most corrupt and crooked organizations around; why would you want to be part of this? And to dumb down your sport just to do it? The FIL World Games at least is the only show there going on at...

I’m sure it is - but - Georgetown is - well - Georgtown. Exclusive club. Very interesting statement. Could you tell us why a GU degree is better than one from UM? Do you have any metrics to show that? And why do you claim that GU is an "exclusive club?" Perhaps because of cost? GU has an ...

Let me know when - there are a few good beer, shot and wings places around Penn Yan.....hopefully a horse and buggy do not hit me  along the way. It is on me, plus the crisp, touched only by my hands $1. PSU football starts in August so that limits the availability during that time ;) Try the ...

There were (maybe still are) height/weight requirements to enter the Naval Academy.....In particular, in the late 50's when I entered there was even a minimum weight requirement. ( I got a waiver because I was underweight). And there used to be at least a provision that you failed entry due to "...

Megan by a country mile. She's been a rock all season. Holding a women's lax team to 10 goals (the one ranked #2 especially) is outstanding....Let's see if the committee awards it to her and doesn't "Heisman" the thing by always giving it to a goal scorer....

Goalie Dolan played better second half. After that the Terps had it all the way..... :? Announcers harped on fact that the Terps stopped playing Towson during regular season. I have to agree that the in-state games are great for the game and the teams....playing Navy, JHU, UMBC, Towson is something ...

Re: 2019 Bracketology Thread

I think people are putting way too much emphasis comparing quality wins and not enough on bad losses. When analyzing these top teams the SOS/RPI has to be taken with a grain of salt unless a team schedules nothing but cupcakes out of conference. Pretty much any team from the ACC, B1G and IVY play t...

Re: Navy 2019

I was at the game and saw a great performance by the Navy goalie. Without his acrobatics it would have been 10-3 at the half at least...I concur that the Mids spent way too much time out on the perimeter practicing passing instead of probing and probing to get inside...That type of offense (such as ...

The main reason to stay out of the IOC and Olympics is the rampant and pervasive corruption in those bodies...Don't foul the Creator's Game.

Re: Navy 2019

We've all seen how the Navy lacrosse program is mired in it's current mediocre state; no threat even for the PL title. That clearly is out of reach --again-- this year. There will be no NCAA bid for this team. I believe the only attainable goal is the N*. Thankfully, that game is at Navy/Marine Corp...

At Navy a ticket is $10 adult; $5 youth; Adult groups of 20 or more $5 each; youth groups of 20 or more $3 each. And it costs $10 to park at the stadium.
