1. Tufts, because they apparently bring back their entire starting lineup
2. through 20. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can never tell who has eligibility left for yet another super senior year, who is transferring in/out, etc.

Re: NESCAC
4 of the Top 10 ranked teams in the final IL poll were NESCAC schools. 3 of the Top 5 were LL programs. In terms of which conference was superior, I’m gonna call it a push. NESCAC w/the NC over LL so NESCAC w/the win. Yep. I - and I imagine most other people - thought this looked like a year where ...

Re: NESCAC
Updated through Year 7 for two of D-III's best. 20-21 are combined to make a quasi-season because both were truncated by COVID. https://i.ibb.co/5c9XSFv/image.png For the millionth time: winning a title is hard , and even coaches we now recognize as great "didn't have what it takes to win"...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
...hasn't there been a grand total of one obnoxious Tufts fan on the entire board? (No disrespect callaxdad; can't blame you for celebrating what I assume is your kid winning a title especially given all the personal criticism of the team, but I do see people's point here). Aside from that, none of ...

Re: NESCAC
Apparently (aka according to D-III) Hobart and Cortland have also done it. Really impressive achievement regardless, just goes to show how hard it is to sustain success.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Yeah, had a bunch of freezing/audio issues too. Nothing major, but still. I appreciate them trying to add in more camera angles to make it look like a big time broadcast, but they missed multiple plays today while zoomed way in on someone away from the ball with the field-level cam. Commentary was g...

Re: RIT vs Tufts
Given the context, that finish by 28 was one of the crazier goals I’ve ever seen.

Re: RIT vs Tufts
Best that D-III has to offer, what a game so far. Talent all over the field, coaching adjustments on both sides, crazy pace and tons of playmaking.

Re: RIT vs Tufts
Tufts' helmets are C L E A N, always cool when they do that. Just wish it was another color rush uni matchup, Tiger orange + Jumbo blue is the best combo in D-III.

Re: USILA D3 All Americans 2024
Never understood having so much bloat for field players but still only one goalie/LSM/FOGO. I would think it's probably because it is 3 Attack, 3 midfielders, 3 defensemen on the field at one time (usually) vs. one of each of those positions and why the numbers skew towards field players. That's my...

Re: USILA D3 All Americans 2024
What an absolutely clown show by the USILA… do the people that vote on this watch games??? Also kind of ridiculous to have 5 attackmen 4 middies and 4 defenseman slots for each team…. The all American list has become a participation award and it’s sad to see Never understood having so much bloat fo...

Re: RIT vs Tufts
RIT. Tufts defense usually comes out and pressures. If that doesn’t work, they drop into zone. 2 things that RIT’s ball movement torches. Last year Kohn went 14/19 and Tufts won 60% of the faceoffs. I have a tough time seeing that happen this year. If Tufts wants to pull this out, Garzone will have...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I think everyone who is honest/realistic about this topic - which includes college coaches! - is more or less on the same page. There are high-level lacrosse players at all levels of the college game, and the best can hang anywhere. From this side, it has been cool to see D-III guys maximize their c...

Re: DIII TRANSFERS
The "average person" is either a head coach (any NCAA sport DI, on down), in athletics or are in college administration (athletic director, assistant ad, etc) or they know the log in of a particular head coach or administrator. For example, if Tucker Nelson logs into the transfer portal, ...

Re: DIII TRANSFERS
Assuming this post is accurate-- that this player info is not only private to the public but also to his own coach-- then this info should not get posted like this. I feel like I'm missing something here...how would information about portal entries be so private that a coach/administrator couldn't ...

Donohue and Eymer also stayed for grad years, I think that’s it though.Unknown Participant wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 12:33 pm I can think of two that stayed an extra year (but I think there were 1-2 more). Trieber stayed in 21 and Murtha last year.
