Crazy ending for the St. Leo game. A 70+ yard shot for a goal was released prior to the buzzer, but invalidated due to a call for interference with the goalie (after the buzzer, while the ball was in the air). Probably the right call, but put it in the "never seen that before" file.

I looked a little deeper into the stats, and Kew was playing at the end of game 4, but has not played in the last two.

Tampa pulled one out right at the end. It looks like a couple of their scorers (Kew and Wright) aren't in the lineup. Does anyone know the story?

Has anyone seen the Nanticoke post, to know what it said or to share it here? It's hard for me to guess what rule might have been broken, which probably explains why the NCAA cried no foul so fast. It sounds like Albany informally checked with the NCAA, and then proactively held him out as a precaut...

Some interesting differences in the polls. The top 10 are pretty close, and most teams are within a spot or two poll-to-poll, but some are a little wacky. Rockhurst 13 in the USILA poll, but not even in the US Lacrosse Mag poll, St. Leo still hanging at 17 (USILA) but out of the USLax Mag poll, Lynn...

I watched most of it too. It seemed like Tampa probably had a lot of stats in their favor (GBs, faceoffs?). Shot totals seemed pretty equal, but Adelphi jumped out to a big lead early and had control the whole way.

For those of us who have coached, how many times have you demanded 30-45-60 seconds before a shot, or required your players to only use their opposite hand? There are so many ways to avoid a result like this and still let your players play.

laxmarmot, First I have to say how glad I am to have found this site. After LaxPower's demise, I had no clue. Anyway, I didn't feel like Lindenwood played their best, but they never trailed to YHC.
