19K Americans in country? Anyone have numbers for other nations? Are these tourists? Expats? Business persons and dependents?

Wonder what the evac plan is?

“ The Pentagon is preparing Marines to help evacuate of U.S. Embassy staff to Djibouti, senior U.S. officials said on Thursday. But that plan will likely face difficulties, and an estimated 19,000 American citizens remain in the country. The U.S. Embassy has advised them to shelter in place until further notice.”

"There is nothing more difficult and more dangerous to carry through than initiating changes. One makes enemies of those who prospered under the old order, and only lukewarm support from those who would prosper under the new."

The shtt that's going on there is every bit as bad as that of the Rus-Ukr border. Strangely, nobody gives a shtt while many insist the USA needs to take action in Europe. Strange set of double standards.

Does Sudan have a hundreds/thousands of nukes pointed at the US? Nuke plants that can poison a good chunk of the global poupulation? Grain that supplies lots of countries?

If you're gonna b!tch, be logical. If you wanna take the moral high ground, then do so in a way that makes sense.

We have plenty of room to work on Sudan without falsely equating it to Ukraine/Russia.

How many nukes did Iraq have? Despite having none except those imagined by Bush's drugged up imagination, the USA and the rest of the world never was in the slightest danger. Yet, Bush was only too eager to start WW III because of his delusionalism. On top of that, many right wingers happily supported him.

By the way, when did Russia or Ukraine ever threaten us with nukes except as retaliation if the west struck them?

Why bring up Iraq when you were the one talking about Ukraine and Sudan? Focus my man.

When one of the world's nuclear superpowers tries to take over another nation, it's important that we act as a united global community.

Lots of bad stuff going on in the world. Why aren't you concerned about the Uyghers? The immigration crisis in Italy? There's like 30+ countries with civil war and insurgencies going on. You don't seem to give a "shtt" about the rest of them? /s

~ When one of the world's nuclear superpowers tries to take over another nation, it's important that we act as a united global community. ~

World needs to unite? Well, as I mentioned before: where TF were you and the rest of the world when Madrid invaded Catalonia and arrested President Puig-Demont?

Where was the global community when everybody kissed up to imperialist Bush? It wasn't our problem, they said.

Ok, what goes on in Ukraine isn't my problem. So GTF out of it. After all, from all news reports we've seen Russian soldiers can't fight their way out of a paper bag. It's the old story, Khokhols kick ass. Russkies are scared as fkkkk about them and have lost the war. And you're worried that they are going to invade NY?? Why don't they invade Europe, instead? Are European countries going to allow them air space to transport their soldiers and war materiél?

Uyghers? Their best allies were ISIS but your heroes in Washington DC put a stop to them. Immigrants in Italy? They wouldn't be there is there hadn't been so many internecine wars in Africa which you and so many others ignore. Other world problems? We have a continuing Holocaust against black/brown people by cops in the USA. Ending that crap is my Priority One. Anyone with so much as an ounce of patriotism would say the same. Of course, we know that those who profit from wars disagree and this is why they want another war overseas. And, as always, they are free to enlist and join Ukrainian mercs if they want a war. But they won't cause they afraid of soiling their underpants in combat.
