RoMo runs the conference w Utah and Air Force 2-3.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

I am familiar with the Air Force team, I think they push for the title this year and win it

RoMo on one hand has a big loss to fill. On the other, they have 5 GR's to provide leadership and they are talented. They traveled a lot last year and that will come in handy with the lay out of the new conference they are in.

Air Force talent is senior and proven. They will actually travel less under the new conference. What they bring in will determine how far they go. This program has not had a "normal year" in a long time.

Utah has so many question marks they could either win the conference or miss the tourny and I could understand each.

Bellarmine has the largest hole to fill in the conference, Eric Rubak, who defensively owned the SOCON but was lost in the stats....unless you watched him play. Someone may replace his stats but not his presence.

Cleveland State's biggest advantage is that %^*$ inflatable dome they play most of their home games in that opposing teams hate (cannot pick up the white ball against the white dome). That said, schools like CS represent the best of lacrosse: it's growth, it's future and players who get missed in the mix of recruiting.

DM: same as CS except no dome. True road warriors for all the travel they do. But can they take that next step?

Mcminn going to dominate this division. Just don't know if he has the horses to start with year 1.

I am assuming that the conference tournament winner will get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament?

My prediction is that Utah is going to be the "Richmond, High Point, Or Bryant away from the East Coast". That is:

-they are a program in a non-top conference
-they get a minimum amount of highly-ranked recruits
-they play a tough OOC schedule and often either beat or play their toughest opponents close to the end
-they win the conference and appear in the postseason multiple times
-they, at least at times, will be tough to beat in the postseason
