Louisville takes the lead 8-7 beginning of 2nd half
Re: 2020 Spontaneous/Miscellaneous Game Threads
Vanderbilt ties it up. Louisville has a good ride developing. They should really work on that as a way to gain an advantage.

Nice goal by number 21 for the Cardinals, my favorite player on the team incidentally, Ally Hall. A lot of class, skill and grace in that young woman’s game. Cardinals up 9-8 in the second.

I need to start paying more attention to threads. Tact and I were talking about the BC-Brown game over on the schedule thread.

Yeah, I'm watching that game. Louisville has been staying right with the Commodores.

Nice without inexperienced play by play/color commentators, isn’t it?

Scanlan is a very difficult player to cover, with a good shot obviously too. Cardinals take a 2 goal lead.

Cardinals have opened up an 11-8 lead on Vanderbilt with a little over 21 left.

I like the fact that Louisville is more spread out on offense with regards to scoring this year. They relied a bit too much on Tessa Chad last year, I think.
Re: 2020 Spontaneous/Miscellaneous Game Threads
Interesting. I didn’t watch much Louisville last year, but I did notice in the game against Michigan, even though they weren’t successful all the time, they did try to pass the ball into the eight. I like that they are trying to get used to doing that. Very difficult to stop a player who gets the ball in that close.laxorangebookworm wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:26 pmI like the fact that Louisville is more spread out on offense with regards to scoring this year. Vanderbilt has a beautiful facility. Looks like a nice place to see a game.

I watched a several of their games last year (Syracuse obviously being one of them), including the Duke one where they took the Blue Devils into OT before losing. They've got potential, but they need to polish up the rough edges. I think they could get their first ACC win this year. Teeter's got them moving in the right direction.wlaxnut wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:28 pmInteresting. Yeah, Vanderbilt facility is really nice. It looks like it's cloudy there today. I saw one last year (can't remember who Vandy was playing) and it was sunny. Looked even better than now.

Agreed. Don’t be surprised if it’s the Eagleslaxorangebookworm wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:30 pm I think they could get their first ACC win this year. Teeter's got them moving in the right direction.

heh, you're too down on your team. They won today and that was one of those 50/50 games I listed earlier this year. They win enough of those, they'll be alright.wlaxnut wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:33 pmAgreed. nice pass inside for the goal. They definitely look better this year regarding passing.
Re: 2020 Spontaneous/Miscellaneous Game Threads
I agree, they need some polishing. But I love that they are aggressive. On defense, on the ride and in the attack zone. I’d much rather watch a rough edged aggressive team play than a talented team playing casually. 13-9 Cards. 12 minutes left

I'm trying not to be too happy for the Cardinals - there's still plenty of time for Vanderbilt to come back.
