OOC schedule seems ok to me.
USCG-beat last years Champs
Williams-NESCAC with a lot of up side this year
Platty- #2-3 SUNYAC
OWU-always top 25
Add that to SLU, RIT, Ithaca, Union
Looks like a strong lineup to me.

Big coach T fan.... he recruited my youngest who is there now...
One of the new asst coach is a Salisbury grad, so MD eastern shore is still represented..
I think the new shot clock rule will match the skills of a couple senior middies...
But RIT, Ithaca, and Clarkson sure can ball

Week 1 rankings are out. Not yet on ncaa website but on USILA’s Twitter as follows-

Looks like just some shuffling of the last spots.

I think that you have solid teams throughout D3, While I realize that York (Very Good Team) was able to go to Amherst and get the win last year..., I got believe that the Mammoth are the team to beat in the NESCAC this year. Loaded with returning talent, new horses, some playoff experience under their belt ... I like JT's boys in 2019, not only to take conference but be there for Memorial Day Weekend for the NC... and joining the brotherhood with Wesleyan, Tufts & Middlebury.

The new shot clock rules play heavily in their favor based upon their run and gun style of play. Great FO, potent Offense & solid goal play.., baring key injuries Amherst is where you want to place you bets on.

Additionally, I think you can't take your eyes off of Williams as well, another team returning talent and experience.....Tuft's is Tufts,... its just about winning, either by 10 or 1, does not matter -their opponent always plays like its their NC Game. Wesleyan, I'm not sure about, lost a lot and could see a "Hangover" in Middletown.

As far at the rest: Other than Hamilton who has struggles over the year. It's any given Sunday, all have the ability to play at extremely level. Little drop back over the years for Bowdoin, Middlebury & Bates, improvements in Colby, CtConn & Trinity make the NESCAC makes them the SEC of D3 Men's Lax. the conference where there is no off days

Favorites Outside the NESCAC,

Salisbury, RIT, York, Gettysburg and WL ( replacing Dickinson)
Still too early to count out Dickinson, Lynchburg and maybe Noke/Stevenson too.

I'd say it's still too early for much of D3... every year there are some important surprises in D3, and very few teams have yet to play an official game.

New rankings up. Got to love Amherst and Tufts flipping spots, neither having played a game...

The reason for this is complicated. Who better than NESCAC people to explain it... ;)

Correct. I’m sure it’s some algorithm far beyond my grasp.

Slow day here.
1-Salisbury getting their groove on
2-Wesleyan
3-RIT vulnerable
4-York playing well early. Not convinced though
5-Cabrini Salisbury game will be telling
6-Amherst not convinced
7-Stevens probably too high, Can they beat any of the teams above them? I doubt it.
8-Tufts score points at a higher rate than their opponents. So far.
9- Ursinus two top 25 wins we will see when conference games start
10- Denison loss to Stevenson makes no sense
11-Gettysburg where were they vs bury
12-F&M nice win vs W&L
13-RPI way under rated
14-Dickinson
15-Lynchburg top ODAC team. What a rough schedule. Still have to win some of those games.
16-CNU
17- SLU under rated
18-Coast Guard need to learn how to play like they've been there and finish.
19-Bates
20-Ithaca
21-Cortland
22-W&L
23-Stevenson
24-Union
25-Fisher

W&L beat CNU lost to F&M..... 1 goal losses to York and Denison on the road . They are a legit top 20 team

Correct ... for an overall record of 2-3, hence the ranking ...

Where as Lynchburg is 1-3 and they get the 15th slot. Yeah, that makes sense😳

LYN Losses to 1-4-5 each game winnable. F&M ranked higher then LYN after losing by 3 at home? have to win at Mustang..(Wesleyan and Stevenson)
Without AJ W&L 22 is about right today. Top 15 if he returns. I suspect they’ll handle MW and look forward to big test Gettysburg.
Stevenson is interesting. Next 4 games - Salisbury, LYN, York and Tufts.
Not sure Ursinus deserves #9. OK wins but MW 2OT win odd.
5-25 close and interchangeable.

De hunt is right about CNU. I gave too much weight to the Noke win. Noke is a hot mess right now. W&L is a good team but their record like Lynchburgs can't be argued. 15-25 are all pretty decent teams and all have the potential to move way up over the rest of the season.

Anyway, better than the coaches poll with W&J getting some points.

I am not sure that W&L is a top 20 team at this time. I think they were lucky to only lose by one to York and Denison. I thing they have potential to be top 10 if #21 returns and they figure out how to use the talent they have.
