West Chester State - in the finals, but unfortunately lost the WD2 final
Mercyhurst in the MD2 finals
Gettysburg in the WD3 finals
And of course Penn State, looking to win the 1st MD1 NCAA title for a Pennsylvania school

Mercyhurst got crushed, Gettysburg got crushed, West Chester got crushed

Still though, just the 3rd Final Four for a Pennsylvania based school - a lot of PSU fans at the Linc yesterday -
Penn State in 2019 and this year
UPenn in 1988.

I suspect we’ll see PSU in the Final Four again with this next year’s incoming class, sometime during their 4 years, Penn State is stacked.

One thing “they” missed,
this year’s team benefited from any number of 5th years who were on the 2019 Final Four team - Jack Traynor, TJ Malone et al.

Enzo Grieco (4 star - 2024) scores 5 goals,

but Mars (PA) loses state title finals on a last second shot.

Once again,

I’ll mention, State is going to be absolutely stacked the next couple years, despite the loss of critical 5th years.

Will Peden, Kyle Lehman, Matt Lazzaro, Liam Matthews, Enzo Grieco, Traynor, Fracyon, Chase Mullins.

The one transfer in, Sean Donnelly, could be key for them. Donnelly tends to play up to the competition, he was a key piece to Drexel coming close to making it to the quarterfinals, rounding out an attack which was among the highest scoring units in 2021.

so I’m certain he will be 100% motivated next year.
