Didn't see any 2019-20 NLL threads up yet so I guess he we are.
Preseason scrimmages got underway this weekend with multiple teams suiting up against another colored jersey for the first time this year.

What is the best way to watch this league? through an App?
Re: 2019-20 NLL
It appears that "B-R Live" (from BleacherReport) is the method:hooligan88 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 1:59 pm What is the best way to watch this league? through an App?

The on-filed product is really awesome for the NLL right now.
They have I a new sponsor for posting highlights. I hoped it would be more and better. They have some to learn from the PLL

Yea i finally found out about B-R. I actually like it.
Re: 2019-20 NLL
I would watch these games if they were on one of the numerous streaming services that I already pay monthly subscriptions for, but that's not going to happen just to watch a few NLL games (which I do find very enjoyable to watch and interesting in the sense that, having grown up in and currently living in NC, I have not had much exposure to real box lacrosse.)
I will say, based on what I saw from one of the games that was being offered for free, the production quality and camera work is top-notch.
Maybe if the playoffs look like they will be shaping up to be very competitive I'll fork over the $10 to watch for a month.

A lot of the games on B-R are free. So you really do not need a paid membership.

Re: 2019-20 NLL
Highlight coverage has had a big improvement this season. The Game of the Week being free also helps.
As for gameplay the NE Black Wolves has impressed the most. Callum "Showtime" Crawford opens up, dodge around defenders, finding the far corner or feeding when he's doubled. The 3rd OA pick Kew catches those for deep snipes and Ethan O'Connor is great cuting through the middle. On the defensive side Dougie Jamieson has been a beast and the defensive has really kept them to the outside. Joe Nardella is already the best converted FOGO from the field game and Watkinson is great runner.
Georgia Swarm feels like the second best team even though they a tight game to the Mammoth. Miles Thompson and Shayne Jackson are the leagues best low angle quick-stickers and the to of the O with Lyle Thompson, Randy Staats and Jordan Hall is even better ballhandlers. Poulin plays big and the D and transition with Jason Noble and Joel White play fast.
Halifax Thunderbirds are a good as thier pre and vad added Clarke Petterson. Keogh and Benesch look really dangerous upfront, Hossack is a beast and Warren Hill will make the competition for the goalie spot on Iroqouis National Box Team really tight.
Sask Rush got completly shut down by NE as only one O guy (Mark Matthews) could score in that game. But the D is super interesting. They pressure all over the rink and loves to force players into the corner where they double and dislodge the ball. Then Kyle Rubisch comes in and scoop up the ground ball. Dilks is back after a season and hasn't missed a beat. Garlent was a great draft pick and Messenger, Dinsdale and the Cornwall brothers play great.
Calgary Roughnecks ofcourse miss Dane Dobbie with the suspension but the two families of Dickson and King still look sharp. Christian del Bianco is the best goalie in the league.
San Diego Seals have a nice O even without Dan Dawson and injured Austin Staats. Connor Fields dominates with redodges and elevator shots. Brodie Merrill shows that he still is a Loose Ball king.
Vancouver Warriors has seen Keegan Bal show skill with some BTBs and Mitch Jones shows that he is the leader.
Other then the captain Matt Beers who also does everything. Needs a better goalie.
Philadelphia Wings had emotional OT win where Crowley was the best. Rambo was as clutch as in his PLL season.
Toronto Rock has and artist in Tom Schreiber and Dan Dawson dominates from is post-up position.
Buffalo Bandits have Dhane Smith...
The New Knighthawks can quickly become ok.
The fans still seem pretty excited.
New York Riptide look to small on both O and D. The most positive difference makers in that department are Digby and Suitor. Otherwise the most quality comes from McRae, Lomas and Connor Kelly.

The 1994 Wings had a goal differential of +45 in an 8-game season. They won four of their eight games by 9 or more goals. In the playoffs, they beat the Saints 17-7 in the semi-finals and beat the Bandits 26-15 in the Championship game. Look at the roster below and you’ll understand why…

NLL: The Reality of Pro Lacrosse
You can now bet on NLL games in certain states. Nick Sakiewicz, the NLL Commissioner, explained his motivations in an exclusive with US Lacrosse Magazine. “80% of people that game on a sport become avid fans. There are no better marketing numbers.”
